In one corner of the cavern, a large dark grey colored egg cracked suddenly. From the shards of the egg emerged a Black King hatchling. It rumbled hello to it's mother and looked towards the candidates, seeming to sum them up. His gaze rested on Datan for a moment, then the Black made its way toward him.*Who are you?* The little one asked of Datan, tilting his head slightly to the left.


Trey watched as Thieva came in and motioned to Wionala for her to welcome the lady. Wionala rumble gently,*You are of course welcome. There is no reason for you not to be. Now hurry. More eggs are hatching.*The queen turned her attention back to her clutch.

One of the smaller eggs cracked open. A little powder blue hatchling crawled out. After looking around for a moment, the little hatchling ran staight for Thieva. *Would you be mine? I like the smell of you.*It said by way of explaination.

Thieva smiled down at the hatchling. “The way I smell…? What a peculiar thing to say,” she laughed kindly, taking the sting from her words. She was darling, this one. “Of course I will be yours if you truly want me. Have you a name, little one?”

OOC: Sorry for the short post. I have a deplorable lack of inspiration at the minute!

Platinum ran into the hatching, skidding to a stop before Trey and Rone. "I am so sorry I am late, there was urgent business to attend to at the islands" She looked around, seing the people with their newly bonded and the eggs that were left. "I take it that I am not too late then?" she leaned forward to catch her breath having introduced herself.

Trey and Rone both smiled at Platinum. "No your not late. Your just in time. Your welcome to join the hatching." Trey told her."Do you need something to drink first?" Just as Trey said that, two eggs burst open, revealing two twin White queens!
Trey gasped. She had never heard of having two Whites in a clutch before.

Both of the Whites made their way immediately to Platinum. *We are Quarin and Calandi. Who are you?* The slightly smaller than normal whites turned and Quarin asked her. Then stared into her eyes. *Will you be ours? We must both go together. We share magic. So if you don't want us both, we will be on our way.* Calandi said plaintively.

“Where are my manners,” she said, smiling. “I am Thieva, little one. As for your name…” Her stormy eyes grew distant as she pondered this. At last a faint smile curled her lips. “What do you think of Iilosida? In my tongue it means ‘sea of snowy beauty.’ The names of my people almost always have some meaning. My own is simple; Thieva means ‘grace of lightning.’” She laughed in response to the hatchlings hunger. “I’m quite sure you are hungry, darling,” she soothed, fishing into a fold in the greatcoat she wore and extracting the large bundle of meat she had procured before arriving. Thieva drew a small chunk from the mass, offering it to the hatchling as she looked around. Sighing audibly in relief, she saw that she was not the only late attendee.

Laughing along with little Sunstreak, Cin replied "My name is Cinnamin and I am a fairy. I am very proud that I chose you too Sunstreak."

Datan had been listening and knew that he was being honored by the new hatched King. He bowed in respect and replied, "My name is Datan. I am an Archmage and I am in charge of the Wizard's Academy in the pocket dimension of Meridian." It was a very formal greeting, but the young King deserved all the respect due him.

Platinum smiled at Trey and Rone as they offered her a drink. She was just about to accept when two eggs shattered, revealing two White queens! She gasped as both made their way towards her and spoke. She bent to stroke Quarin and Calandi. "What makes you think I wouldn't want you sweet ones? You are so beautiful!" she turned to look at Trey and Rone joy in her eyes then turned back to the Queens. "Would you like some food dear ones?" she asked, continuing to stroke both hatchlings.

"yes of course I would" Eliza replied to red brick hatchling". "Healing is where what is hurt is mended, ok?" she asked kindly, "In order to heal you, I'm going to put my hand over the place to heal it. Is that ok?, uncertain of the hatchlings response.

Falcon Muse:

*I like that name. I like your name too. Iilosida it is for me.* After swallowing some of the meat she added,*Your food is very good.*And with that, the little blue ate some more of the good meat.

Lady Cin:

*I like your name. Cinnamin. It is a pretty name. I am proud to chose you too, but I am hungry. May we get food?* Sunstreak asked her bondmate.

The Black inquired his head toward Datan.*You seem to be very kind hearted, and you also seem to strive to do your best. My name is Silown. Will you be mine, and I yours?* Silown stared into Datan's eyes, hoping that this man would accept him.

Platinumdragon22:
*Yes we would like food.*The White's told Platinum. *We only knew that some might not want two hatchlings to have to care for, and that we must not be seperated.* Calandi told her.*What is your name?*Quarin asked Platinum. Beside Wionala, who rumbled her approval to all the new bondmates, Trey nodded to Platinum. "Food for both you and the hatchlings can be found on the table over by the wall. Eat and drink all you wish. The Queens will tell you when they are done."She told the girl. Then she whispered to Rone,"All of the hatchlings seem to have made good choices, don't they love?" Rone nodded in agreement then noticed as yet another egg started to crack.

All:

A dark tan egg cracked open to reveal a chestnut brown hatchling. He got up and looked around, eyes resting on first one, then another of the candidates. He turned toward the entrance and creeled his hunger to all those in the hatching cave.

A large egg that had yet to show any movement burst open suddenly. Out of the egg shell came a silvery green hatchling, who turned toward the candidates and creeled its hunger to all those in the cave.

The little red looked at Eliza.*Yes. Anything to stop the hurt.* With that said the hatchling rested his head on the sand next to Eliza, wondering if she would choose him as he had chosen her.

*I like your name. Cinnamin. It is a pretty name. I am proud to chose you too, but I am hungry. May we get food?* Sunstreak asked her bondmate.

>>You may have all the food you can eat<< Cin sent, >>but you must promise me to chew it. You might choke otherwise and you would not enjoy that.<< She then led Sunstreak over to the side to feed her and allow her to meet her sister Kereseth and the elder Lotheryolana.

The Black inquired his head toward Datan.*You seem to be very kind hearted, and you also seem to strive to do your best. My name is Silown. Will you be mine, and I yours?* Silown stared into Datan's eyes, hoping that this man would accept him.

"I am yours, as you are mine" Datan said formally, then his happiness came out, "Well met, Silown, I am very happy to bond with you. Come now, I'm sure you are hungry and you need to meet your sister and my senior bond Night Star."

Datan and Cinnamin introduced all the dragons to each other, they would all be living together after all, since Datan kept his bonds at Spice Castle...there were no accomodations for dragons at the Wizard's Academy...yet. Chatting and eating, the group waited to see what would happen next.

"Ok, you'll feel a slight tingle but that will be all" she said reassuringly, reaching her hands out over the hatchlings wings and back legs. There was a brief glimmer of power, then it stopped, "there you, go all healed now", she said, as smiled at the little red " I shall call you Feran".

Lady of the Weyr:

The little red, Feran, smiled and nuzzled Eliza. *Feran is a good name. May we eat now?* He asked of his bondmate, wondering wheter there was any food there.
