Jewel Dragons
Jewel Dragons are one of the smallest dragon varieties of dragon. They are about 5 feet shorter than a Pernese dragon of the same color. Jewel Dragons are similar in appearance to their cousins, the Jewel Flits. Unlike their cousins, the Jewel Dragons have certain abilities. Golds can predict the future, bronzes can read minds, browns can heal wounds, and greens can use telekinesis.

General Description: Phoenix Dragons are very unusual dragons. Their bodies are covered with feathers, which are red, orange, and yellow. Most of their feathers are red, the feathers on their undersides are orange, and the feathers around their eyes are yellow. The males have feathered crests of varying colors; the females have ‘ruffs’ of varying colors.

General Description: Drakkens are a strange combination of dragon and tiger. These large creatures are built like a dragon, yet have a tiger-striped fur coat. Wild Drakkens are vicious, treacherous creatures, yet a bonded Drakken is fiercely loyal.

Coloration: Drakkens have a thick coat of fur. Males have orangey-brown fur; females have silvery-white fur. All Drakkens have stripes, the stripe’s color indicates what element the Drakken controls.

Creature Name: Aurelian Sea Dragons

General Description: These dragons hail from the planet Aurelia. They are fairly small, rarely exceding 16 ft in length. They prefer to live in water, but are capable of living on land. Their streamlined bodies are covered with extremely thick scales, which allow them to dive deep into the ocean. Their wings are usually kept folded underwater in order for them to swim faster. They often fly from one body of water to another. These dragons can control water currents and 'summon' water. The rare silver females have healing abilities.
Size: At Hatching, ASDs are 2 ft long; at maturity, the males are 14 ft long, blue females are 13 ft long, and silver females are 15 ft long.
Coloration: Males are green, females are typically blue. On rare occasions a female will be a silver color. Hatchlings are very pale in color, as the dragon grows, their color will darken. Silver females remain a brilliant silver color all their life. All ASDs have yellow eyes.
Hide/Fur/Feathers?: At Hatching, the dragons have thin flexible scales. As the dragon grows, the scales harden and become thicker.
Special Abilities: All ASDs can control water currents and summon water. The silver females also have healing abilities.
Bond?: ASDs prefer to be bonded to a human and are capable of bonding at any age, though most bond right after hatching.
Mental Abilities: ASDs can only communicate through telepathy. Silver females can also use telekinesis.
Intelligence: ASDs are extremely intelligent; the hatchlings are often very curious.
Breeding: All ASDs are fertile. They are mature at 6 months, and females rise once every 2 years.
Clutch size: Typical clutch size is 8-10 eggs; however, silver females can produce up to 14 eggs.
