Creature Name: Caeddrhy Dragons (cader)

General Description
This particular draconic species is of many variants, each differing greatly from the other and possessing their own individual skill. Caeddrhy Dragons are known more commonly to be nocturnal, though it is not uncommon for any to be out and about in broad daylight.

Faeddhe- Faeddhes are among the most common and most appealing. They are long and sinewy with tendril appearing prongs adorning their jaws and oddly short wings. Their hides are various degrees of orange or gold. Faeddhes stand prominent with mastery in bartering of goods as well as information.

Dyth- The largest of the Caeddrhy Dragons, Dyths are well muscled to the point of stockiness. They are friends of smiths and with barrel-chests, rendering manual forges as a crude mechanism. Dyths’ scales come in an array of bronze and copper and on the odd hatchling, a smattering of white.

Brionne- Brionne are the Queens of the Caeddhry, their elegant forms dazzling in violet or silver. Their wings have an additional membrane with frills and tendrils skating out from the ends. They are lyrical geniuses and brilliantly wordy. Their rarity is staggering; however they are revered beyond any fleeting thought of egg snatching.

Mahkkir- The Mahkkir are the healers and wanderers of their kind. Given their partiality to traveling, their wings are long and sail-like enough to accommodate this need. Their pearlescent hides gleam brightly in shades of forest green or sand.

Pelovettt- These historians and philosophers are the master-minds of Caeddhry draconic society. They are minimal in length though carry their torsos on long limbs. Their tails reach to nearly double their length, a spike similar to a scythe blade grown from the very end. Pelovettts’ scales are most commonly red or deep indigo, every now and then a pale blue.

Dellrhudorawyn- Dellrhudorawyn means the ‘Hallowed Daughters’ in the native tongue of Caeddrhy. Similar to the Brionne, they are always female, yet come solely in lavender, occasionally with sheens of other colors. They are rare beyond imagining, though in certain bloodlines, they might hatch in every other clutch or so.

Thyraswlhd- The Thyraswlhd are never female and the only males to ever fly the Dellrhudorawyn. Their name can be directly translated to ‘Sons of Kings’. Their colorations vary throughout the spectrums of yellow, gold, black, blue, and red.

Topic: The Philosophy of the 'Keepers'

In the culture of the Caeddrhy, human and draconic alike, the term ‘keeper’ has been known to be uttered during numerous hatchings- and often on more than one occasion. The term ‘keeper’ is used when a pair of hatchlings convey a since of ‘one-ness’. In their youthful innocence their mutual love for one another is little more than platonic but is there nonetheless and deepens as they grow. This bond between the hatchlings is the direct result of their souls spending numerous lifetimes as mates and as each reincarnation takes place the bond will always be present. They are the keepers of each other’s hearts and they will not bond separately unless their separate chosen have a similar bond.
