Having wanted to help people in desperate need, she moved to Thailand in 1997 to work at a non-profit hospital to help children with heart conditions in Southeast Asia. She is humble and doesn't enjoy wealth, evident by her apartment in the business district of Bangkok she shares with her husband Virnajan, an oncologist trained at John Hopkins, and her daughters Verada and Victoria. When both her and her husband have a free day they enjoy leaving their children with his parents and flying to Ko Samui and going scuba diving or just going to the beach like any family. In a working environment she is a tough cookie with a good mind and a cool demeanor, getting things done and not being overly emotional.

Physical Description: Standing 5'2" and weighing 115 lb, Sam doesn't hit many people as being substantial. She is very skinny without much muscle, and only a few curves earned from being a woman. Her light blonde hair is graying slightly, but she takes care of that with dyes as much as she can, and blonde isn't her natural color, either. It falls to just below her shoulders, growing it out to donate to charity - she prefers short, simple-to-take-care-of cuts. Her eyes are ice blue, deepset, yet always bulging as if she is constantly surprised. Her features are dainty, very feminine and cute, sometimes making her seem 10 years younger than she actually is. Her skin is a deep tan, but it is obvious that it has been earned from years in the California and then Thai sun - it's dotted in freckles.

Mental Description: Born with an adventurous mind, from almost as soon as he could walk, he was escaping and wandering in the large grounds of his house, and when he was older spent many hours wandering the woods of his wealthy families' estate. He was never really aware of how much more money than many others his family had, as he spent his time involved either in the wilderness or reading in the large library of his family. His interets in the wilderness developed further when he was fianlly allowed by his parents to join the local Scout Troop, where he soon gained many badges. After being mugged once when out walking, he was persuaded to take up a martial art for defence, which he enjoyed and has carried on since.
He, like many academics. can get so focused on an issue that all other considerations such as food and sleep just get forgotten in the passion to learn and understand. He has a passion to explore and understand, and will often explode with happiness after having sorted out a particular issue or found a new clue.

Physical Description: At 5'10", Ben is not massively tall or short. He is relatively well built, but perhaps a touch scrawny. He keeps his brown hair reasonably short, but can be rather neglectful of personal appearance when he really gets into a good vein of research, often meaning that his hair begins cover his blue eyes, often the first time he realises that it is too long. He doesn't pay too much attention to the clothes he wears, buying wjhat is durabnle, especially considering that he does a a good amount of his research on the ground, though he has only a small amount of training as an archaeologist. Through his forgetfullness to eat, his frame is quite sparse, though slightly bulked through his martial arts and trekking.

Mental Description: Kaida is a sharp witted and sharp tounged individual who loves to show up others with her high intellegence. Her mind acts like a sponge and it is hard to find the small deminitive girl with out a heavty book before her. She can be quite agressive and actually very competitive, but doesn't like to be shown up and hates to lose. Kaida thinks that only her achievments make her the kind of person who is sucessful so she is very strick with herself and always places her education first among everything. However, Kaida has a inner sense of insecurity which has led her to learn and excell in the art of Judo at a young age. She enjoys much of the finer things in life such as listening to classical music and more, but can sometimes be a little to figity for some adverture in her life.

Physical Description: Kaida is a small, athletic young Japanese woman that has a good resemblence to her given name which means 'little dragon'. Her face has sharp angles to is except for her almond eyes. Her dark brown nearly black eyes are often hard and tyrannical, but allways gleam with intellegence. The profile of her face is long and with out the usually roundness favored in the asian liniage. She only stands at about 5'1" and she is highly underestemated, but her light and flexable frame can pack a punch, when needed. Kaida keeps her strait black hair just slightly past her shoulders, but most of the time keeps it up in buns or pulled back with some kind of device, her favorite being two sticks just for that perpose.
