Goldendragon- 01-11-2005
The little female streached her neck and turned her head in order to accept the caresses. *Thank you for the complement, Datan. It is always nice to know that you are admired.* A soft grumble emited from her throat as she thourghly enjoyed the attention. *Do you often visit your mountain range? I wouldn't like to be isolated with only other beast like me for company, but I would like my bond to share the joy of the mountains with me.* She turned beautiful eyes of grey-green on to Datan as she questioned him.

As the events continued, tow more eggs cracked and spilled their contents on to the sandy cove. One small dragonling kreened at the candidates demanding attention. She resimbled more of the Triiallans princess and had a lovely shade of lavendar hide. However, she had two pairs of nicely shapened wings that were unlike her fathers side and not streaks were seen on her scales like a normal Triiallan princess. Her hide also exhibited a soft maroon color running down her spine that blended well with the purple. Deep blue also appears in small amounts on the trailing edge of her wings. The little princess stumbled around on ungainly legs not wanting to stay were she was. *I am the dragon of the twilight who dwells in the fading light of the sun and the strengthening glow of the moon.* The second dragon was nearly black as the justices of the Triiallan, but was as large as a Striirecean and looked much like his mother, with four wings and all. No streaks were seen on his dark hide, but perhaps the thin lines hid in his coloration. Dark puwter grey highlighted his hide in some spots.

Rose looked at the purple and maroon dragon, stunned at her colouring " You Look very beautiful indeed" she thought to the hatchling.

Sephiroth- 01-11-2005
Sora stared at the little princess, not wanting to voice how beautiful the hatchling was in case she would get into trouble for doing so. Sora couldn't help but wonder if perhaps this dragon, with her colorful beauty, would find her suitable. Sora had always wondered what it would be like to bond to a dragon, but had never dared to hope that she would.

Torique watched as her daughter's face lit up when two more eggs hatched. She could tell deffinately tell why. The hatchling was beautiful in color, and seemed so special in some way. The way the maroon coloring down her spine blended with the beautiful lavender of the rest of her was stunning. Torique couldn't help but stare with wide eyed amazement at the beautiful hatchling.

Datan smiled and replied, "I don't have to visit the mountains, I live at the base of the range and my dwelling is built into the mountain itself. The Wizard's Academy is built against the mountains, up the side of the mountains and deep under the mountains...and I am Headmaster of the academy."

He mindsent an image of the outside of the academy and also of Spice Castle where he spent much of his time. "Do you see little one?...the two places I spend the most time in are right next to the mountains and there are many, many other dragons and other creatures at Spice Castle...that's where my other bonds live, because there has not been time to build dragon caves near the academy...it is still under construction...although classes are in progress despite this, we already have over 100 students."

--------

Cinnamin was overwhelmed by the nearly black hatchling...he was so large and handsome. She mindsent a message of welcome and longing towards the new hatched male, hoping he would consider her acceptable.

Goldendragon- 01-12-2005
The twilight dragon heard voices from two directions, one aloud and one not really ment for her to hear, but her sensitivity to though allowed her to pick up on cues unsaid. Perhaps this perceptiveness came from her Striirecean heritage, who are know for their powerful telepathic ability. The two standing to gether was the source of what drew her near and she looked over the mother and then the daughter. *Thank you* she sent to the pair that was gawking at her. She wanted to see what would their reactions would be and turned fully to them. *Im honored that you fine me so beautiful.* To the girl she asked, *Do you like it when the world fades to dark? I do, there are great games to be played in the failing light.*

*May I join the academy?* The silver-blue hatchling sent, with a keen intrest. *I can fit in to the classrooms, Im sure.* The dragonet suddenly appeared quiet diffrent and her features melted rearrange themselfs in her choisen way. The gradual change left a very young girl standing in the place were the dragon once was. She looked human, however, except for the dragonets silver-blue colorations and patterns. It would seem that the young dragon inherited her fathers ability to shape shift, but could not truly give up her natural form. She looked up with big wide eyes at Datan, eyes that gave her dragonish nature away. The girl faltered and quickly drew back in to her natural form. *I will be able to hold that form longer with more pratice, but I have no idea how to change the colors. Any way I would love to learn things there at the academy. Would you let me?*

The black and grey dragon sinced eyes as well as thought projection on him and his eyes met with Cinnamin's. Not really confortable with approching, the dragonet enstead stretched his neck as far as he could while sniffing the air. His manor suggested that he was a little timid in nature and the way he looked at Cinnamin, gave the impression that he was not quite sure of what she is or what she is about. A funny, confused noise sliped past him and he coxed his head at another angle to get a better look at the fairy creature. *What are you? Are you a dragon like me? Do you know what I am supost to be? I do not know.*

Sora looked into the eyes of the hatchling. She didn't know what to say.*You are very beautiful, thus, why would you not be found that way?*Then in answer to the question, *I love sunsets and stars. Night is my favorite time if that's what you mean.* Sora was still wondering why the hatchling would want to talk to her.

Torique bowed to the twilight hatchling and replied,*Truly, it is impossible for me not to find you beautiful, dragon of the twilight. Then she noticed that it seemed as though Sora was talking to the hatchling as well so she stopped.

*May I join the academy?* The silver-blue hatchling sent, with a keen intrest. *I can fit in to the classrooms, Im sure.* The dragonet suddenly appeared quiet diffrent and her features melted rearrange themselfs in her choisen way. An enormous smile could be seen on Datan's face as the young hatchling demonstrated her shapeshifting ability..."The Academy is open to all sentient beings, I see no reason why you could not become a student...once you learn how to hold your human shape. My companion Cinnamin is also a shapeshifter and there are several Renthian Dragon students as well...between them, I'm sure they could help you learn to control your shapeshifting. So yes, once you can hold human shape you may enter the academy."

The black and grey dragon sinced eyes as well as thought projection on him and his eyes met with Cinnamin's. Not really confortable with approching, the dragonet enstead stretched his neck as far as he could while sniffing the air. Cin could tell that the little male was shy, so she slowly moved closer to him...when the flood of questions started, she giggled..."I am a fairy, not a dragon...but I can look like a dragon if I wish too"...suddenly Cin's shape blurred, and in an instant she was a mirror image of the hatchling...>>I'm a shapeshifting fairy, which is rather rare in itself<< she mindsent, >>you are a type of hybrid dragon, a crossbreed if you wish...your sire and dam are of different dragon species...so you will be a mixture of them and will have to discover which abilities you have received from each of them.<<

Goldendragon- 01-12-2005
The twilight dragon's eye lite up to the answer of her question. She approched the pair and nudged both mother and daughter to get a feel of what they were. *So you are not afraid of the dark. Some younglings are, but you and I are not. Would you like to play games with me?* Then she looked up at the mother as if to ask permission, but did not say anything to her. *I would like to give you my mark, would that be ok? It is pretty and it wont hurt.*

With eyes sparkling with great joy, the mountain hatchling butted her head against the stomac of Datan. *I will be so happy to attend and be able to learn from you.
I will do you proud.* Before even asking permission, the female touched the arm of her choosen, giving him her mark. *I need a name and some food. Would you oblige? And then after that you can tell me all about you academy and all the things tought. Oh and about the dragons there.*

The dragon matched her performance at shapeshifting as if her could not help himself and was draw to the action of the fairy. His new shape resembled Cinnamin in ways, but in a male form and he still retained the colors of his dragon hid. *I can do that to, so there is one thing that I can do. We will just have to find out as I grow. It is hard to tell what you are suppose to be when you very own blood tells you two diffrent things.* Not able to hold the form for long, he changed back to a dragon. *I like this form much better.* The dragons timidness was pushed aside by curiosity and the dark hatchling turned his dark red eyes to Cinnamin. *So thats what I look like. It is odd, to see something that you know is you, but is not at the same time. So you are special in you kind with being able you change you shape and others can not. That kind of makes us simular in one way. Would like to help my find my path and discover what else we might have in common?*

Sora wondered what the mark was but nodded,*Of course you may. My mother will not mind. Do you have a name?*Sora asked the Twilight dragon then smiled.*My name is Sora.* Sora smiled first at the hatchling then towards her mother.

Torique wondered what it seemed the hatchling was saying to Sora, but descided to nod in case the hatchling wanted her approval, then turned back towards the eggs. It seemed that the hatchling wanted Sora so Torique would not interfere. But what would Sora's father say?

Goldendragon- 01-12-2005
One egg perched precariously on the ridge of a small rise of sand started to rock, but before the occupants could manage to break free of its prison the egg tumbled down and shattered in to another egg. The two hatchlings fell twisted together from the force that cracked their thick shells. The larger dragon struggled to free its self from the limbs of her siblings. She resembled her father very much and if she was full Triiallan dragon, the little female would most likely be a Citizen of the breed. Her rich mahogany brown skin contrasted brilliantly with silver steaks of her skin and she would have passed for a Triiallan if it were not for her size and the fact that she had a second pair of wings. Her brother, however, what quite a bit small that the female and unfortunatly turned up on the bottom of the pile their bodies have created. Pushing at the female, the little dragonet cried out in out rage and shock. This other hatchling had a very Striirecean look to him even though he was not a normal size for that type of dragon. His hide seemed to glow as scales gleemed in the light. A lovely pearl color gleemed in patches around his eye and down his forhead, but most of his color consist of a sandy brown and tan, with what looked like splashes of a sea green and a darker blue. He only had one pair of wings and is some places looked to have the Triiallan streeks of blue. Once on his feet, the hatchling examined the crowd with confidence and surity.

Hatched 6 out of 17

Watching the newest hatchlings make a crashing debut into the world Lukas couldn't help but smile. The larger female was striking in color but something about the smaller male drew his attention. He was so distracted that he didn't see the arrival of a pair of people and a dragon.

Sihrdon had finally managed to drag Elianna away from work to go exploring and right as they were getting ready to leave a message had been sent out about a crossbreed hatching. Seeing as how the father was a Triiallan, Ryalla Elianna's dragon, had demanded they go and see. Even if none of the trio bonded she wanted to see what a cross breeding would look like.

The trio's arrival was at a perfect moment, two hatchlings had just untangled themselves and before they could even greet the parents of the dragonet's or the riders of the parents Sihrdon had stepped towards the newest arrivals. Ryalla, not wanting to seem lacking in manners felt for the Triiallan presence she knew she would find here and was surprised that she found her brother! *Drodan? What are you doing here?* she asked full of surprise.

Drodan had been watching his newest young when he felt a familiar mind brush his. At the question he couldn't help but laugh, *I think you already know that sister, the little one's you see before you are mine and my mate Jresishia's.* The dumbfounded feeling that came across from his clutch sister's mind caused him to laugh. Turning to his mate he sent, *My sister has brought her human, and her human's mate, to meet our children and if i'm correct they hope to bond. May they stay and try?* He knew his mate's answer would be yes but he figured it polite to ask anyway.

Elianna watched the surprise flit across Ryalla's face and gave a small laugh before turning her attention back towards Sihrdon. He had approached the smaller male and from the look on his face he must be talking to him.

Eli's assumption had been correct, Sihrdon was indeed trying to talk to the little male. *Hello young one, you sure are a handsome fellow.* He wasn't sure just what to say to the little male but he wanted so very much to find a companion such as Elianna had in Ryalla.

"I think we can arrange that, my little one" Datan replied, then led her towards the feeding area, "Would the name Mithilluin suit you?"

The dragon matched her performance at shapeshifting as if her could not help himself and was draw to the action of the fairy. His new shape resembled Cinnamin in ways, but in a male form and he still retained the colors of his dragon hid. *I can do that to, so there is one thing that I can do. Cinnamin shifted back into her own shape, then replied "I would very much like for us to learn what you can do together. Does that mean you wish to bond with me and come live with me and be my friend?"

The little hatchling gently touched the left hand of Sora and with that sent her colors on to the hand of the girl. Light swirls of purple, marroon and blue mixed with the black lines from underneith. The tiny lines wove in to complicated patters on Sora's hand and wrist. *There, that is my mark. Do you like it?* The little female seemed to giggle with excitment. *I need a name too, Sora.*

Maira:
Jresishia turned to the newest arrivals and nodded with greeting. It was wonderfull to meet some of her mate's family and Ryalla seemed like a nice dragon to get to know. *Of course they can stand for our children. It would be nice to keep some of them close so I can enjoy their growing up. Its nice to meet you Ryalla and Elianna.* She turned back to watch her newly hatched young and sighed. *Are they beautiful, Drodan?*

The little male sniffed the air towards the man that was coming closer to him and with the sound of the man's voice the dragonet brought his head up in hard concentration. With a confident and proud voice the hatchling announced himself. *I am the dragon of the beaches and oceans. Do you live near a place were the water meets the land where you would need someone like me? I could guard the beach front and protect the waters. Thats what I wish to do. Do you like the beaches?*

Lady Cin:
The dark hatchling nodded in answer, *Yes I would like to bond with you, but first a name would be good. You can just go around calling me dragon or little one all the time.*

Sora grinned at the hatchling. *Your mark is almost as beautiful as you. You need a name...hmm...how about...Tiliai? It means 'angel of the night'. Do you like it?* Sora worried that the hatchling wouldn't like the name Tiliai. Some people took the Angel of the Night verses to be an evil omen, but Sora's mother hasd always told Sora that that was a silly notion that someone thought up to scare people.

Cin giggled before she replied, "Yes, you must have a name. How do you like the name Mor? I know it's a small name, but it means 'dark one' and it does seem to fit you."
