Creature name: Yjenelah(drunk dragon).
Homeworld: the moon Liren in Sjirra.
Climate/terrain: like humans, the Yjenelah survive and thrive in any climate and terrain, but for obvious reasons they prefer life in larger cities where food and entertainment is easy to find.
Mental abilities: when sober, they are quite intelligent creatures who knows how to enjoy a good discussion and can sometimes have surprising insights. However, as their primary diet of alchoholic liquids does affect them, Yjenelahs have a tendency to be loud and having a rather annoying sense of humor. Even then, they are rarely anything but friendly though, although they have an annoying tendency of interfering in the buisness of others.
Special Abilities: with the exception of telepathy and the occational individual with telekinetic abilities, the Yjenelah doesn't have anything in the way of magic or mental abilities-- which is probably a good thing. At those rare times when they aren't too much under the influence of their food, they can also display a almost uncanny ability to telepathically communicate with and understand others-- whether people or animals.
Society: as they are and have always been relatively few in numbers, Yjenelahs doesn't have much of a society to speak about. However, they almost always live in groups of at least four individuals who meet at least a few times a week, these groups being lead by the one among them to be the quickest thinker and most stable while under the influence. Neither there's a drunk dragon born who doesn't appreciate the value of the best brewed beer, wine or other such drinks, many will also make a name for themselves as excellent vitners-- although they rarely earn a profit for obvious reasons..

And as the students decided to use what was emmediately available, the Yjenelah were created using a mix of wing cat, iridescent, ember lizard and kangaroo-- creating the original fifteen units that were put into an incubator. Despite that these were not the best circumstances for a new species to be created, especially as the students had added some unusual characteristics-- like the drunk dragons prefering a diet of alchoholic drinks. The first fifteen were still viable as the AI monitoring the incubators tweaked the makeup of the units enough to remove traits that were truly harmfull or even lethal.
The basic body shape of a drunk dragon is much like that of the typical western dragon mixed with features that are unmistakeably kangaroo-like-- for example their ears and the rather long hind-legs. Drunk dragons are rather small as dragons go, perhaps the size of a large wolf, and they come with feathers, scales, fur, hide or skin. No matter what they are covered with, however, drunk dragons are VERY colorfull creatures. They come in a wide variety of colors and the colors seem to have been put on by a blind person(meaning that the colors can clash horribly). Drunk dragons are generally rather overly cheerfull creatures, but they are known to be horrendous singers(so run the other way if one seem about to start).
