Name: Hotaru
Age: 14? 15?
Appearance: Hotaru is a small girl at only 4'11, however she's a little taller if you can ever get her to stop slouching. She seems to be eternally slouched, half hiding perhaps. Her hair is brown and plain, her eyes a bright violet that argue that she might not be entirely human. Hotaru is thin as well. The girl tends to usually wear plain blacks, long sleeves and long pants/sweats.

Personality: Hotaru's personality is somewhat unusual, for the girl is bipolar. Her moods swing about, though not entirely in the usual fashion. She can be paranoiad then oblivious, dancing and then crying. SHe does seem to, almost all the time, avoid attention. If you feel eyes watching you from somewhere in the shadows, it might be her. She's no evil creature of the night unless she's chasing down someone who's harmed her or Tomoe in the past, but she does see the dark as something calming- Protective, a shield she feels safer in.
Hotaru tends to get along better with animals then humans- Which is to say, she doesn't harm them in any way avoidable(aside from eating meat), though she doesn't always befriend them either. She is fond of cats and some birds. However, if she does trust a human, she'll do anything to help them. She doesn't want to trust anyone however, and would rather avoid them- Thus she has few friends. Deciding it wiser to lock herself away rather then risk having her emotions toyed with or her heart broken, she's become a rather sullen, cynical creature. She's also seemed to lose her love for games- She plays them still, but less excitedly. Even in happy mood swings, she's not filled with unbridled joy, merely happiness or contentment. Most of her current games are vengeful ones, played with the minds of those who have tried to harm Tomoe.

Tomoe, rather obviously, is one of the few she cares for. The girl seems Hotaru's opposite- Kind and calm rather then sarcastic, and gifted with healing powres rather then Hotaru's odd blend of abilities. Tomoe is 17, however, her age pretty much stopped for centuries a while ago, before she suddenly started growing again. She should be far older. Despite her seemingly incompetence when it comes to fighting, unlike her friend, Tomoe somehow gets out of situations even Hotaru will admit she couldn't without permanent damage. Tomoe also has the power to go in the minds of others, though that could be damaging. She does not, perhaps can not, without permission, unless it is someone close to her. So far, despite her open friendliness, only two people are close enough for her to enter their minds unbidden. One of these is Hotaru, the other unknown to Hotaru, and the girl doesn't care enough to pry. Unless Tomoe wants whomever this person is helped, Hotaru doesn't care what happens to her. Or him.

Hotaru's powers are more varied then Tomoe's healing. She isn't good at them of yet, either, or at least good enough to be pleased with herself. Hotaru can absorb the power of her emotions, using that to fuel herself- Of yet she hasn't learned to use the emotions of others, a bit of a problem as she tries to contain herself most of the time. However, with this energy- With the exception of the unusable fear- she can do a variety of things.

Recently, Hotaru gained another companion, a metallic blue Mnrrenrrii dragon. She's named him Taskalon. Taskalon is under a year old, and thus still rather playful. While Hotaru insists she plays with him only to placate him, Tomoe is of the opinion that Hotaru enjoys being around someone less jaded then she is at times. The girl is perhaps more protective of him then even Tomoe, rather then chasing down and taking revenge upon whomever attempts to harm him she'll do her best to kill them on the spot, preferably painfully. Despite the attack at the hatching, before Hotaru was quite as attached to him, and despite the twin killings that followed when two of Kestrin's recruiters decided to add Taskalon to their forces and were discovered in the act of kidnapping him by Hotaru, Taskalon is always cheery. In fact, even for a youngster he's cheery, and seems to do his darndest to help Hotaru cheer up. He /can/ be serious, but usually doesn't want to. Hotaru is entirely devoted to him, and has in fact given up her other planned tasks, as well as revenge on a certain long-time enemy, to spend nearly all her time with Taskalon. For someone who doesn't get attached often, she's certainly quite attached to Taskalon!
Once older, Taskalon may be a big help, not just in terms of fighting and companionship. His species has empathic abilities, to some extent, and these will help Hotaru develop her own abilities, absorbing and using other's emotions as well as her own.

Tomoe
?? Claims to be 17, since her age went back two years when she was nineteen.. And no, she won't explain how. She's been around far long, she just had a pause in age, oddly enough.

Appearance: Tomoe is 5'3, and perhaps still growing a bit. The girl has light brown hair, and bright green eyes. She tans only a little, and this quite easily. Her appearance is normal but seems a bit unusual, something no one can place a finger on.

Personality: Kind, sweet, anything you can think of. She's nice to the point that it bothers Hotaru at times, actually. Tomoe is easily a friend to most, though she chooses best friends wisely. Despite her seemingly imcompetent at everything but healing nature, she's not only kind but a bit smarter then she appears when she must be.

MNrrenrrii dragon: Tomoe's first and for now only companion, he's orange with yellow. SHe's named him Emisrii. He's as kind as she, and already she's trying to teach him to fly- Did we mention he's only a few days old?

Estalya

Appearance: Estalya is of a moderate, slightly tall height, but seems taller then she is. Dark, somewhat wavy hair falls down to the middle of her back, or would if it didn't constantly seem to fly about unrulyishly. Bright green eyes add to her somewhat mysterious appearance, making her open nature a surprise to many. Estalya's face is usually covered in a smile or a look of determination.

Personality: OPen describes Estalya moderately well, as does intense. While not exactly cruel, Estalya is not one you want on your bad side. She's persistent to the point of seeming almost pushy at times, though she will occaisonally bend a bit if she sees she's been wrong.

Bonds: Gold Pernese dragon (Thank goodness for random hatchings! ^^; ) named Dsekriyith. Dsekriyith is not as fierce as hers can be at times, though she's not entirely a pushover. Slightly shy, Dsekriyith is a bit aloof when she doesn't know how to interact with others- On a friendly scale rather then a professional one, basically. She is comfortable entirely with Hers, however.
Dsekriyith is neither large nor small, and a bit darker then the average gold dragon.
