Creature Name: Ice Runner.

General Description: native to the arctic areas of Camidra, the ice runners are a race of small and furred draconics. Due to that the temperature in their ranges rarely goes above minus five degrees celcius, they are covered in thick fur which provides excellent protection against the cold. Of appearance, an ice runner bears some resemblance to a fox, but the body is longer and their forepaws are more like hands equiped with sharp talons instead of nails. The head also bears some features reminding of those of a typical western dragon, and some scales may grow among the slightly shorter head-fur. Ice runners also have a pair of slender feelers extending from the base of their lower jaws-- these usually kept folded and protected within the runner's warm fur. Ice runners do not have wings, but their speed, agility and ability to move with great speed even in difficult terrain and within tunnels and cracks in snow and ice, they do not really need the ability to fly.

Special Abilities: ice runners are very talented in cryomancy and aeromancy, and they also frequently use telepathy to locate prey in the arctic-- where it may be quite difficult to find anything to eat during most of the year.

Mental Abilities: ice runners are bright, but often vicious beings, shaped by the harsh enviroment in which they live. Every bit as intelligent as a human, though they lack proper hands to use of develop technology, ice runners are notoriously difficult to outsmart-- and they are worshiped and hunted by some humanoid tribes.
However, ice runners are extremely loyal to each other-- especially blood relatives, and a ice runner may sometimes put its own life at risk to aid other runners. At times, some ice runners may also choose to become the companion of a individual from another race who has shown exceptional intelligence or bravery.
Ice runners raised away from others of its kind since hatching, may also form a loose bond to the person who fed and raised them, though the ice runner is likely to leave at once if mistreated.
