Tygress- 01-31-2006
Tygress sighed in contentment as she sat there on the beach listening to the waves with a strong pair of arms wrapped around her along with a pair of green and black wings. Seeral was a lovely world she thought. "Everything alright?" Tyram asked rubbing her arm. "Yes, just being... happy," she paused and found herself surprised at how long it had been since she could say she was truly happy. She laughed to herself about her anger upon meeting Tyram and acctually finding herself attracted to him. She hadn't wanted any more of the complications of relationships. There was a part of her that still feared the return of Richard. And yet there was a stability to Tyram that she did not think would be affected by the petty jealousy that had ended her previous engagement.
"You're thinking too much again, dear," Tyr chided. "I brought you here to relax."
"You said you wanted to show me something," she replied recalling just what had convinced her to come to this world that was strange to her though she'd meet several Ralsens and Seerans.
"Is my showing you this beautful spot on my homeworld not enough?" he asked leaning forward so his cheek pressed against her's.
"I just get the feeling there was more you wanted me to see."
"Be patient," he whispered.
Tygress sighed again and relaxed against him.
*Much better,* Tyram 'pathed.

Tygress- 02-02-2006
They remained cuddled on the beach enjoying each others company in sweet silence. Tygress did not even realize she had dozed off until Tyram gave her a light shake and whispered "Wake up love. This is what I'd hoped to share with you."

She woke and blinked several times wondering at the weird lights dancing in her vision. At first she thought something was wrong but then she saw that the lights were really there. Countless swirls of light each one in its own unique shade raced through the evening sky above the beach and out over the water.

"Swirrels?" Tygress asked in a whisper having heard of the creatures sometimes earthbound squirrel-like sometimes these dancing swirls of light. Tyram nodded. "Amazing isn't it?" he asked... but there was no real need of an answer.

The races continued but slowly the amount of swirrels involved lessened as one by one they settled to the beach, some switching to their squirrelish forms. At the point that about half remained the races ended and the race winners began an intricate dance.

There was a certain tension as well as a profound joy to the air that caused Tygress to gasp as she realized why it was familiar. "Mating flight...."
"Their own version unique version of it," Tyram replied. "I've never been present for one before but the evening was right and I've seen the swirrels here many times."
"Do you think they know we're here?"
"They may but I've been trying to keep us shielded."
She nodded and returned to silent watching.... Though her breath quickened as Tyram held her tighter and she couldn't help leaning back against him... inviting him to nuzzle her neck....

As evening became full night the dance continued some swirrels pairing off while others dropped out. Soon only 10 pairs remained. Tygress and Tyram interspersed kisses and caresses of their own with the watching of the dance.

Swirls of light every color of the rainbow settled in a circle then a new dance began. Pairs twirled around each other as the entire group spun... then tendrils of light joined the individuals of each pair then with a glow that was near blinding the circle closed and there was a flash as the joined tendrils from each pair separated to to join together in a gleaming orb of white light. The swirrels circled the orb as it slowly eased to the ground... gradual pairs separated from this final dance leaving the brigh-*test*-('") two pairs to settled the orb to the ground.

Tygress and Tyram held tightly to one another as they watched the swirrels now in squirrel form carefully remove shining ovoids from the circle of white. It took a moment for Tygress to realize these were the swirrel eggs. She felt a shiver and wasn't sure if it was her or Tyram so closely did her told her.
