Invisiflitt

General Description: the invisiflitts came to be due to a magical accident(in which two juvenile drunk dragons are said to be the cause of it, most likely because they started singing at the worst possible moment). Anyway, the first invisiflitts were three firelizard/minidragon crossbreeds who were the familiars of a young magic-user called Tara Morden, and it all started when(as previously mentioned) she was distracted in the middle of a difficult weaving of magic. Not surprisingly, the magic went awry-- but fortunatly it did not really harm anyone, except for that the three familiars all ended up invisible. At first Tara and the familiars did what they could to undo the 'damage' without much success, but it didn't take them long to realize that they should take advantage of what had happened instead of seeing it as something bad-- especially when it became clear that the offspring of the three were also invisible.

Special Abilities: invisiflitts have the same abilities as the firelizards and the minidragons. Invisiflitts may also become visible for up till one hour every day, but then only to their 'owner', doing so will also leave the invisiflitt exhausted for hours.

Specific Physical Statistics.
Size at birth: invisiflitts have been estimated to be about 10-15 cm long when newly hatched.
Size at maturity: 80-110 cm long.
Time to maturity: 5 years.

Mental Abilities: intelligence is equal to that of the minidragons, although invisiflitts tend to be considerably more mischevivious.

Breeding.
How often can the creature get pregnant: once a year.
How long between pregnancies: at least 7 months.
How long is it pregnant: 4 weeks.
Are all females fertile (barring accidents): yes.
Are all males fertile (barring accidents): yes.
How many offspring can the creature have at once: 5-15.
Is there sex linked traits (like color): invisiflitts may change colors at will.
