Wolfshades
General Description
These wolves are native of the world of Midel. But are happy to move to other worlds, as they are adventurous and curious. They are corporeal and spirit, and can dwell in both realms. They are corporeal until maturity, when, it is believed, a deceased spirit joins them and shares existence. There are two distinct personalities at this merging, but the Wolfshades will not explain exactly what takes place. Once the merging has taken place, they can become invisible at will. It can be very confusing until you get to recognise which personality you are talking to! There are not the usual alphas etc. They just live in family communities if not bonded, and any male/female can pair up. They will often mate for life if not bonded, and keep close family ties. Have great respect for their elders.
Special Abilities
Telepathy, invisibility. Some have the ability to foresee future events, these are known as Seers.
Appearance.
Are similar in size and shape to Terran wolves. Colours are gender related. Males –White through to dark silver (either all one shade or blends). Females –Black through to light charcoal (either all one shade or blends).
Oddities
Does this creature need to bond? They don’t need to bond, but like to form a close, telepathic friendship/bond at about 3 months or later.

Size at birth -7” approx.
Size at maturity - As Terran wolf.
Time to maturity – weaned at 3 months, mature at 5 years. Life span – 30 years.
colors - Males –White through to dark silver (either all one shade or blends).
Females –Black through to light charcoal (either all one shade or blends).

How smart are they? Similar to human intelligence.
