Joriythre Dragon.

General Description: recently created using material from three other dragon species; nro'raka, leithir'ier and fireglass dragon, joriythre dragons are a rather unusual species. Of basic build, they are much like the nro'raka, though they do keep their fur when reaching adulthood. Like the sjirran moondragon-- their wings are long and narrow, with a extra wing-rib extending from the elbow to provide additional stability. From the fireglass dragons-- their fur and wing-membrane is crystalline and may often shimmer with sparks of the individual dragon's color if he or she feels strong emotion. The eyes of a joriythre dragon are large and almond-shaped, and the color is almost always several shades deeper than the body color.

While created as a means of controling those they Bond to, joriythre dragons does very much have minds of their own, and while often quiet-- they do have a certain subtle kind of humor. Certainly they do grow very fond of their Bonded, but they are rather proud of their intelligence and abilities. Thus they have a tendency to look at others as little more than children-- not exactly stupid certainly, but still having a lot of growing up and learning to do. It's likely to take a lot of effort to get a joriythre dragon to truly respect someone of another race.

Special Abilities: they have the standard telepathy given to most created/bio-engineered sapient creatures. However, in addition to that, joriythre dragons also have a rather spesific gift of shapechanging. While spending most of their time in the forms they are born with, joriythre are capable of changing into a form that makes them capable of traveling in space while carrying passengers. This alternate form is that of a 'spaceship'-- triangular and almost organic-looking, keeping the distinctive crest of their dragon form and covered by 'scales' in the same color as their fur. Inside, there is a set of five rooms/chambers that can accomodate up to a dozen passengers for nearly half a year. In this form, they may teleport and are capable of spesific types of magic that is usually determined by their color.

Oddities: made as a means of controling someone their creator may find useful eventually, joriythre dragons provide a direct link to their Bonded minds when needed.
Any attempt to fight it when the link is open will result in increasing discomfort and eventual coma. However, the rest of the time, they provide their Bonded with impenetrable mental defences.

Shortly after hatching, usually when they are a week old, joriythre dragons are allowed to choose among a number of candidates picked by their creator or someone working for him. The Bond can't be undone once formed, and will remain for the duration of their lives.

Climate/Terrain: joriythre do well in just about any climate and terrain, though they seem to have a liking for extremes, whether it's heat, cold or somewhere like the elemental plane of water.

Eaver: females. A eaver have crystal blue fur, in magic their talent is chronomancy.
Auceas: males. An auceas have crystal red fur, in magic their talent is magnetomancy.
