As it seems like we are a bit divided on the matter of dragon mutations and the possible effects of it, I would just like to mention this idea I just got. I'm rather sleepy now though, so please don't maul or kill me unless you absolutely have to.

What about that I made a second version of FarNorth?
The current one will run more or less as it has until now, but for the second one we will follow what's written in the dragon mutation post, as well as using certain other ideas I have. We would keep the BoD mostly as it is now, with a few possible additions to help run the alternate Weyr.

Possibly we could use SnowCat Weyr or Hinarth WeyrHold instead.

I think it would be rather interesting, personaly; as we all seem to like FarNorth as it currently is an alternate Weyr sounds to be in order for those who are interested in more mutations. My only concern is that people might let it get a little out of hand with mutations and the 'realism' that not 100% of the hatchlings and dragons are going to be perfectly fit, meaning that some may go overboard. That said, I still think it might be a good idea.

Well, yesterday I decided to actually create a new group based on that idea, if anyone is interested - just PM me and I will give you the link, because I do not know what the rules on advertisements are. It was created to give people who want that idea the chance to RP it without making others mad.

If you want to play mutations, go to Oddessy. Or Newbie's FarNorth-Oddessy spinoff, I guess!

Actually, I played in Odyssey for a long time, and my game is quite different. And in my opinion Odyssey is too tight knit, because before long I felt quite left out.

Odyssey is pretty close-knit, and isn't anywhere that I'm playing at the moment... but it's certainly an already-established, up-and-running, fairly fun place to go, for those that are interested in mutant draggies =)

I really don't mind...it actually sounds like fun....as long as you don't get rid of the normal FarNorth! I enjoy it too much for it to go away!!
