Rinma sat on the ground outside the forest watching it burn. Serves them right not to answer her summons! She was, after all, the dragon to whom they owned their lives! She had spared them when she killed their parents. She sniffed the air and turned toward Triwn. *They have went to a Kristayl hatching love. Shall we interupt?* she asked him knowing he would not like her doing anything without his permission.
*No. We wait until nightfall, then we get them back. We kill any human or dragon in our way.* he replied. He knew it would be a fierce battle but...it was worth the best for their children. Those two sisters would pay dearly for disobeying his mate.

Syres walked amongst the brambles in a slow and careful gate, trying to wade through them back to her home. Shaking her head and smiling faintly she reflected on the small hatching she had attended in East Dolvia; she had never seen a prouder pair of parents. Through the corner of her eyes she saw the rustling of bushes and pretended not to notice as Advena and ‘Rome slunk from the foliage. Egg heavy as the Pelovettt was, that wouldn’t stop her from roaming free with her King.

When at last the trio came in sight of the manor, Syresluna noticed something out of place; an unfamiliar flit curled in vigil on the doorstep to her private study. How long had she been waiting? Syres wondered as the little green swept towards her. [[ The hatching begins, you are called to come, food will be provided all are welcome.]]. Syres sighed, watching as the flit disappeared again. And I suppose I’m going to be very late… Damn the portals. Caeddrhy’s orbit was on such an axis that it was extremely difficult to teleport and arrive anywhere on time. Yet this held true only when one departed from the planet; arrivals were almost always within the appropriate timeframe.

Syres paused for a moment before making up her mind and walking into Opplueasse Manor. Taking the less frequented corridors she managed to get to her quarters in good time and change into fresh clothing; what she had worn to the last hatching was too heavy and warm, suitable only for Dolvia’s tundra. Taking a second to scrawl a note of explanation for her extended absence, the young woman departed as quickly as possible, taking all necessary precautions for teleporting in her ripe condition.

She swept her hair into a loose twist at the base of her neck as she stepped in through the entrance to the hatching grounds. Syresluna gazed over the scene; not an egg left to hatch and so many apparently having made their choices. Would she be permitted to stand this late, or was there even purpose? Resolving that there was only one way to find out she looked for some one that might be a host, instead walking up to one of the parents. With a respectful nod of her head she asked, *I realize that I am quite late- the portals between my land and your own are not the most easily accessible. May I stand as a candidate for the remainder of your young?*

Looking at the blue,who had appeared so unexpectedly at her side, maygirl smiled. I am happy to meet you. As for names I think that Nightshade will be gpod for you, I hope you like it.
Then remembering his hunger she metally summons a huge bowl of food over nad handed him a chunk to chew on.

Karon took to answering the Garnet, and Kikkia the Amber. "Not too long. We are the children of our parents untill we start lives of our own. Well, home. That is really the othey way to decribe it with-out showing it to you. It is WONDERFUL there."

"He's much like my brother" Kikkia put in.

Serani, Rinma's bond partner, didn't approve of Rinma and her mate's methods."Rinma? Could we not just look for other's to be candidates for your children? I don't want to lose you to a Kristayl! Whatever would I do? I could go by myself and see if the sisters have bonded. If that is you wish I will. It is not far from here.
*I understand your feelings. Maybe you going there is not a bad idea. Just know that if Triwn and I are needed by you, all you must do is say! We will come immediately to your aid.*Rinma said to her bond."I will go now then!"Serani replied and headed in the correct direction.

Serani walked into the hatching grounds wondering what the Kristayl would do if she found out Serani was a spy. As she walked in she turned towards Srrmaie."Would I be able to watch you hatching? It would be nice to know what one looks like before my dragon's eggs hatch."She asked kindly of the Kristayl. If the dragon decided to attack, so be it. All Serani had to do was summon her force field for protection, and call Rinma and Triwn.

Reno and Ran gasped as they saw Serani enter the grounds."Serani!"Reno said softly but worriedly. Ran started shivering anew and Reno could feel herself tense as Serani spoke to Srrmaie. What if Serani called Rinma? Would Triwn come too? If he did, none of them stood a chance. Ranote turned to Lawvirn,"That girl is bonded to the dragon who burnt our forest!"She told the Topaz quietly."She's dangerous! Can I stand behind you where she can't see me?"She asked the Topaz.
Reno asked her rubies,"May I stand where she can't see me either?"

Kathryn

The Emerald smiled. *Thank you for your help* he said, uncurling himself, it was amazing how small a 100 foot long dragon could make himself when he chose! *I am hungry, and I like the name Emeri, it suits me!* he stood, nudging Kathryn to walk with him to the food tables.

Srrmaie looked down at Reno *Large your Rinma be but she will be no match for the protectors of this hatching ground* she opened her mind to Reno, showing the picture of the multitude of dragons now circling above the sansd. *Each avd everyone of them has weapons which can be used from near or far. If Rinma and her mate choose to fight, they WILL lose! NOONE will harm my children* her tounge snaked in and out of her mouth, she was incensed. A threat at her hatching indeed!!

Lawvirn was almost too angry to eat, she was not happy at heving her bond upset. Angry as she was she could feel Ran hoping she would eat, so to please her she ate some meat. She could feel her strength growing with every bite and ate more, if needed she would help the adult dragons inside and out.

Mrlarr, on the other side of the grounds, saw another enter the hatching sands and greeted her *You ARE late indeed* and he smiled *There are two hatchlings left on the sands at the minute, you are welcome to stand for them, one is an Emerald Kristayl and the other a Platinum Gauzewing. You are welcome here* he felt a bit useless sitting here but someone had to help with the hatching and Srrmaie seemed to have the defences running smoothly *I wish you luck!*

The sapphire looked up at Maygirl, *That name is good for me* he grinned, no matter what was going on he had someone here and was happy. His eyes widened as the bowl of food appeared, but he was too hungry to worry about it. He gently took the meat from Maygirl's hand and chewed it, almost purring in his happiness.

The Garnet looked at Karon and smiled as did the Amber with Kikkia. They looked at each other and smiled *It sounds like you really like where you are from, would we be welcome there?* asked the Garnet
The Amber spoke to Kikkia *He has not shut up for the last hour and still he needs to talk* and she rolled her eyes, *I am hungry would you feed me?* The garnet looked up *I am hungry too* The Amber smiled again *We both need names too*

Srrmaie looked at the girl who Reno and Ran appeared scared of. Tounge flickering faster she pushed her head forward, swinging it from side to side, scenting her. She smelled fear and guilt on the girl, but no intention of harm.....yet. *You may watch, it is good to learn before you have to do something* and her head moved fractionally closer *You can watch from here* as she spoke she moved her body round to cover the two girls behind her. She would watch this one closely.

The Topaz and the Rubies looked a their bonds, then at each other and curled up together as if tired, wrapping themselves around the two girls, rendering them invisible in a heap of multicoloured dragon. *You are safe with us* the Topaz sent to both girls *We will hide you well* said the Rubies.

" Hi, Eliza said, going across to the gauzewing and helping it "Is your leg ok?"

The Emerald looked up at Eliza, *It hurts and I can't straighten it. Can you help me?* his eyes, filled with pain, softened. *You are nice for coming to me. Where are you from?* if he talked it hurt less than before.

"Yes I can help you and i come froom a distant place called oceana, which is by the sea" Eliza said, reaching out to carefully lift the emerald, "Would to like to lay in my lap, so you can take the weight of your leg?", kneeling down next to it.

The Emerald gazed up at Eliza, *Thank you* he said *Where you live sounds nice. I think that I am too big to fit in your lap though* and he smiled. *If you like I can lie on the floor and yo ucan look at it?*, totally trusting in her ability to help him, he looked up at her. *I like you! he said and smiled at her

"You're welcome and im glad you like me. I like you too, Eliza said smiling at him, "where abouts on the floor would you like to lay?" she asked, looking around for a safe spot. "Would you like me to help you lay down?"

*I can lay down here if you like?* he said *There is a clear space here* he lay down *There, I am down will this hurt?* he asked worry tinging his voice *If it will I can stand it* he boasted, then sighed *It will hurt less when it is fixed though?*

"Dont worry, this won't hurt a bit and it will feel better afterwards. In fact, it should be painless." Eliza smiled, "However, you feel a tingle", she said, holding her hand above the injured leg. Almost instantly, the leg healed.

"You may just be right great one.."Reno replied to the great Kristayl, Srrmaie."Thank you for helping my sister and I!"Reno turned to her rubies,"You two are good at hiding me!"She said gratefully to the twins. She was worried about the fact that Serani had come looking for them, though. Would she call her dragon, or her power if she needed protection? Serani had never really liked the way her dragon handled things, maybe she was here to keep Rinma from attacking?

Ran turned to Lawvirn,"You need not worry about me! We will have protection from you mother and the other adult dragons! You, Lawvirn, are very brave, but also young and fragile! I don't want anything to happen to you now that I have you!"She added happily.

Serani wondered what the Kristayl was hiding. She best not agitate a full grown female Kristayl though."I am grateful to you for allowing me to watch! Would it be all right for me to call my dragon to watch as well? I can control her. She won't harm your children! I would never let her!"She added wistfully.

Eliza asked the emerald, "would you like a a name?" "If so, I'll call you ezwelden."
