Maiken and Pearl watched as the odd colored dragon hatched. Pearl crooned in worry. Maiken had never seen anything like it before. She didn't recall there ever being a dragon that color. She hoped someone would help it before it was too late. Pearl bugled in hunger and Maiken turned back to feeding her beautiful newborn dragon.

Karon Looked at the strange dragonet. No-one moved forward to help it so he did with a gasp of worrie from his cousin. "I'll help you little thing" he muttered as he tryed to help it to stand.

The three young companions all smiled at the approval of the dam and sir of the clutch and each bowed in respectful graditude in there own little way. The small crowd they were attracting came to their attention. Smilling back at the Sapphire king that gave her a little complement, Zylunna answered sheepishly; "Thank you. I dont always stay in this form. I can shapeshift like all my race can, but this is how I look for real. I can hold other shapes for very long which doesn't matter because I like this form better." Zylunna's greenish silver eyes gazed at the trancluscentness of his wings, "I like your wings too. Your skin seems to be transparent. Thats amazing."

At first watching Zylunna and the young dragon she was talking, Rouri hard the two female chatting about her color. A little surprised, she looked down at herself as if to make sure she was still the same and looked back at the two Amber dragons. *I like your colors too. Both of you are a very lovely shade. Do you by chance have names? May I ask, what does your colors mean?*

The young female Striirecean was looking around at the immense eggs around her. She was amazed at the size of the eggs and the size of the hatchings. Kyali was only 30ft and only had a few years left to grow, but these dragons were just out of there shells and already larger than her. The garnet male begin to talk to her and she turned her lovely amber eyes on the larger, but younger dragon. She smiled and her redish-copper cheeks grew brighter red at the complement. *Thank you very much, sir.* She adverted her eyes and lowered her head a tiny bit. *I'm not so sure I like to shine. To meny people say things about it.*

The little hatchling, half the size of his clutchmates raised his head as far as he could and looked at Karon. *I cannot move! Why?* and he thrashed his head from side to side, seeming to become stronger, but still his wings and legs would not move. *You have come to help?* and he moaned, *I am hungry, maybe that would help* and he seemed to calm a little. *I like you* and he smiled a little.

In the clutch, a few or the eggs started to rock harder, Three banged together, spilling two of the occupants into the sand, another Diamond queen and a Topaz female. The third hatchling, a Silver gauzewing, sat in the remnants of his egg looking a bit dazed. The Topaz stood up and shook herself, then spread her wings and leaped towards Kikkia. Landing at her feet she grinned, *I need food* she sent, *Will you play wth me too?* and she waited, weaving slightly from side to side.

The sapphire looked at Zylunna, *Thank you,* he said and looked a his wing, almost like it didn't belong to him *I like the way you look, and your eyes glimmer* he took a few steps forward and lowered his head to look her in the eyes. *Do you have food? Meat!* he looked at his stomach which had made a loud grumbling noise *I think I am hungry*

*Thank you* replied the second of the amber hatchlings *We like the way you reflect us!....Rouri*
We do not have names* said the first *You may name us if you wish* and she tilted her head coyly *Our colour means we are Soldiers and hold the power of growth, plant or animal* and both stood, watching to see what the reaction was to that.

With a smile the Garnet male moved forwards, *You should be proud to shine, I am* and he grinned, starting to glow *I hold the ability to control light, I can make me light. Or........* he grinned mischeviously *I can make you darker if you like* He faded to his normal colour and looked down at her *I like you* he said *Do you like me* and he looked from her to the ground, nervous.

Zylunna looked around for a moment and spotted the tables holding meat and other goodies. *Well, lets see if we can remedy your hunger. There is food over there for you and Im sure there is some meat over their for you.* She began for the tables and looked behind her to see if the king was coming. Zylunna was all smiles and was enthroalded to have the sapphire with her. *Your species do not have names when there born do they?* She asked. *Would you like me to provide you with one? Zacalee might fit you, it means 'of glass', or perhaps Cyisaldie, 'clear blue'. Which one would you perfer?*

Rouri laugh as she realized that the color of the amber dragons really were reflecting off her smooth silvery skin. *I guess I never realized how shinny I am.* She looked back at the hatchlings as they told her about their colors. *Soldiers. Thats interesting, and growth is very important. What are you soldiers ageinst? Is your race in a war or conflict? My race is kind of like that, but we dont have any soldiers to protect us and really know way of protecting ourselves except for running. By the way would you like the names of Easliea and Reayli? If not I think I can think of more you might like.*

Kyali looked up in surprise when the young garnet male said she could be darker if she wished. *Well, I do think that it is best to be the way you were born and this is the way I was born. I have the ability over metals and I would not resemble my powers to well if they weren't as shinny as metals can be. But it would be neat to see.* Just then the garnet said that he liked her and that made the young female blush and look away to the floor as well. *I like you too, but I am not far out of the egg myself.* She giggled and looked sheepishly at the garnet dragon.

"Shimmer is my usename, my true name I give only to a selected few outside of my family" Shimmer said, lowering her head to look at the queen hatchling. Then she smiled slowly, "and my kind all have eyes like these. Personally I think that they look quite nice, not to forget that they are great to have if you wish to give someone a fright in the dark".
And tilting her own head to the side, she took a good look at the hatchling, "I must say though, you're rather pretty yourself. No sjirran dragons gets your color from natures side, and I like the way the light sheen through your wings".

Noticing the hatchling that had just emmerged from its egg, appearing rather weak where it lay at the sand, Shimmer reached out with her mind to the resident dragons.
::I am fairly skilled with healing, both mundane and not, is there anything that I can do to help?:: she asked quietly, her crest flaring briefly as a sign of worry.

Cinnamin the fairy was having a normal day at Spice Castle; feeding all her bondmates, making sure everyone who lived here was happy and busy, etc. As she stepped out onto the terrace for a moment of rest, an unknown flitt popped in. Images of eggs and dragons...a sense of urgency...and a feeling of welcome...came from the little one.

A hatching, Cin thought to herself, and it seems I'm invited. She gave the stranger flitt a treat and asked it to wait while she got ready to leave. Sending out a mental summons, she asked which of her dragon bondmates wishes to take a trip.

<<I'll go with you>> sent her friend Mystique the Dimension Dragon.
>>Thank you my friend<< she replied, >>I'll be ready in a few minutes.<<

Quickly packing a small carisak with supplies, she put a warm travelling cloak carefull over her wings and rushed back out to the terrace. Mystique was waiting and Cin mounted quickly.

"Lead the way small one" Cin said to the messenger flitt, "Let's go Mystique." And they were off, arriving a few moments later at the hatching location. She took off her cloak and left it and the carisak with Mystique, then fluttered into the hatching cavern on swift, colorful wings. A quick look around showed her several hatchlings still looking for a bondmate and a couple who had already found theirs and were eating. With a smile she flew over to the parent dragons and bowed to them in the air.

"Greetings" she said and sent, "I am Cinnamin the fairy from the Queendom of Meridian. Your messenger flitt found me and I came straight away."

Cin was a bit overwhelmed at the size of the parent dragons...a four foot tall fairy must seem like a gnat to something so large.

The sapphire grinned. *Both names are nice, but I do prefer Cyisaldie* and he looked at his wing, *That one would suit me!* he said, whilst following Zylunna towards the meat tables.

The Ambers turned to one another then looked back at Rouri. In unison they replied, *We are born soldiers to protect the protectors of the Queens and Kings of our race. There are those in our lands who do not take kindly to our kind* and they moved 2 more paces forward. *We like those names* they replied *They are interesting!*

The Garnet was a bit embarresed, he had not expected that result to his enquiry, but he replied anyway. *Does that mean I am not acceptable to you as a bond?* and he glanced at his feet again, then looked up, a grin on his face *I promise not to change you unless you want me to!*



The Diamond queen looked at Shimmer smiled. *Well they very pretty* she said *I wish my eyes were as bright* and then blushed a little at the compliment she had been paid. *The light DOES shine through doesn't it* and she watched her wing, turning in a circle as she did so. It just wouldn't stay still!

Srrmaie looked towards Shimmer then back at the hatchling *He seems to be getting stronger now* she said *But if he is not up soon would you help?* and she looked back at her.



As she spoke another candidate had appeared. MIDAIR! Srrmaie snorted in surprise as the newest attendee executed a perfect bow midair, then reached out to steady her. *I am sorry to blow you around* she said *But you surprised me!* and she smiled. *You are welcome to join our hatching Cinnamin* and she bowed to the fairy. *Your friend outside is welcome to join us to if she wishes?*

Aiyana tried not to laugh at all the antics going on around her..while she had never attended a hatching before she was not prepared for so much chaos!!! Having come from a very ordered household she had never seen such a scene in her life and thought perhaps she was a bit out of place here ---

She wouldn't leave of course, that would be rude... but perhaps if she just made her way slowly into the shadows and just watched.....

*No, no. That is not what I ment.* The young Striirecean corrected, *I am young and perhaps you would not like a bond so young and well, not even old enough to take care of herself, but if it is your wish..* Kyali looked in to the garnet dragon's eyes. She was a bit bewildered and not sure of herself because none of her race has ever been bonded to another besides there chosen rider. Well, Rouri has a mark on her right wrist and hand that Kyali had given her when they bonded and perhaps she could give the young male one as well to symbolize a bonding. *You see that mark upon my riders arm, the silver one's arm. It is a symbol that expresses that a Striirecean like me has chosen that person to be their companions. Would you like to have a mark like that? I think I can give you one to and I could be bonded to you and you could be bonded to me. * The smaller female smiled warmly at male in a dragonic way and reached up to him to nudge him on his muzzle. She hoped she didn't offend him in any way, but she was still young and did not know what to do. *I would like to be your bondmate.*

The Garnet looked at Kyali and grinned, *I would love a mark like that!* he replied, and nudged her back, gently. *I will have someone to play with now! I'd much rather have a young bond than an older one. We are pretty good at keeping ourselves fed after a few weeks, so you don't have to worry about that! We can have fun!* and he crouched down to be at eye level with his chosen.

*I like to have fun, but you need a name dont you?* The metalic colored Striirecean looked at the garnet in as sidways glaze. *Rouri named me, but I maybe I can think of a name. A name in my language is really hard to say for others thats why our bonds give us a name in their language so that is what I will do. Syianitii is a good name for you, it means 'friend of all'.* The young dragoness reached up to him again and rested her muzzle on his and in the process gave him the mark that resembled Rouri's in ways. Thin vains of bronze, copper, silver and black appeared on the left fore arm of Syianitii and wove in elegant patterns down the dragons talons and ended just above the fingerjoints. Kyali smiled up at Syianitii and said, *Now you can have apart of my shine and together we will always be.*

OOC: I want to join in but I'm a bit confused as to which dragons are available can we have a quick list maybe? If my charies have spoken to dragonets already taken please forgive me....

IC: All three of the arrivals from Triial were standing in awe of the hatching. So many eggs all at once. Talla turned to ask Aithen a question just in time to see a blue haired man and a crimson haired woman making their way into the hatching grounds.

At his wifes sudden distraction Aithen turned and saw the duo making their way in as well. Once they reached the small group Aithen said, "Marken, Ryalla, I thought you two didn't want to come in?"

At hearing her dragon's name Elianna turned and saw Marken and Ryalla standing behind her in their human form. Reaching over she gave Ryalla a quick hug and then nodded agreement with her brother.

Ryalla answered for both of them, "Well when we felt how many eggs were within this cavern we had to come in, otherwise we would have been waiting outside for a very long time." Then, a slight jealous tone in the Triiallan queens voice she said, "Marken has had so much fun with the hatchling he brought home recently I want one of my own."

The other four all started laughing at Ryalla, the irony of her statement not being lost on any of them. Here was a queen dragon, more than old enough to have a clutch but for some reason she just didn't want to Fly yet she ached for a young one... Eli, being her soulmate and less likely to get snapped at, teased Ryalla, "Well love, you could always go Fly and have your own clutch, then we can have one of these gatherings for you." The crimson haired woman just growled.

At another series of pops and cracks the now group of 5 from Triial turned their attention back to the sands as one.

Upon seeing the Topaz leap towards another Candidate Ryalla sent to the small silver, *Why do you look so confused little man?* She hoped that maybe that would get his attention.

While Ryalla was busy with the silver Talla had spotted the Diamond and not knowing the ranks of these dragonets sent what loving feelings toward the little girl as she could. Then deciding having the baby in her arms could become an inconvenience she quickly placed him in his sling along her back. Once he was settled she sent to the little girl, *Hello beautiful girl, are you hungry?*
