*Well than as soon as the Hatching is through you shall come home with me my sweet boy,* Ryalla answered her silver soulmate. As she gazed at him lovingly the moment was interrupted by a loud rumbling sound. Raising a crimson eyebrow she asked him, trying not to laugh, *Are you hungry by any chance or was that rumbling an earthquake?* Knowing that it indeed was the silver's tummy Ryalla knelt down and offered him a few chunks of food. *Here sweetheart, I know this will help,* she said as she waited for him to take the meat.

Talla smiled a bit sheepishly at the astonished question from her diamond bond. Not knowing any other way to explain Talla let the diamond take the last pieces of food from her and then reached back to her sling where the baby was sleeping. Lifting him out carefully, trying not to wake him, she brought her's and Aithen's son towards the diamond dragonet. The baby wrapped in his blankets had the face of a human but his body was strangely shaped. Looking up into the diamond's eyes Talla took a deep breath and then pulled the baby's blankets away. When she looked down, Talla saw what the dragonet saw, a small human baby with blue and orange dragon wings. Wings?! At a snort from the dragonet Talla recovered the baby and looked back up to try and explain. In a quiet tone she started, *My husband and I are both bonded to Triiallan dragons.* Looking back down to her soundly sleeping son she continued, *And as my people have begun to discover, human babies concieved between two Triiallan bonded humans as a result of a Triiallan dragon mating flight turn out like my son.* With a sigh Talla looked up once more to her great diamond queen and then surprisingly she smiled. *So you see, you can teach my sweet boy to fly.*

*Well I hope you do like living with us, we are quite the interesting family,* Marken answered the Emerald. As the dragonet finished his food Marken couldn't hold back any longer and blurted out, *So handsome, what shall we call you? Do you have a name or shall we pick one for you?* Marken waited anxiously for his dragonet's answer. He didn't understand why but for some reason naming this young dragon seemed like quite the adventure.

LADY CIN

The Ruby female looked at Cin while she fed her and smiled at the name she was offered. *I like Karadiri! It is a good name!* and she snorted happily as she ate, watching the stream of images that were flashing through her mind. It all looked so INTERESTING! With a grin she replied to her new bond's question, *I will be very happy with you in my new home* and she looked over her shoulder at her mother. Srrmaie rumbled, *Congratulations Cin! And to all the others too. Be well my Ruby daughter* and she turned to watch the rest of the hatching.

The Jade hatchling looked up at Aithen as he caught and righted him, smiling up at him. *We were meant to be together you and me!* and he purred in pleasure as Aithen caressed his jaw, he knew just the right place! Eyes half closed in ecstasy, he answered his bond's question. *I do not have a name, but I would love one! Can you do that for me?* and his eyes closed completely as his chosen continued to stroke him.

Wrapped in her new bond's arms the Onyx hatchling crooned her delight and contentment. She was so happy! As Elianna spoke to her she raised her head, a delighted smile on her face. *I do not have a name.....yet, will you do me the favour of naming me?* and she snuggled down further into Elianna's arms. So warm was she!

MAIRA 2

With a smile on his face the Silver watched Ryalla, devotion shining from his eyes as she spoke. He was distubed from that moment as his stomach growled! With a jerk his head snapped round to look at his stomach, almost of it's own accord, and then he looked at Ryalla. She had food! Trying not to look too greedy he took the meat she offered, crooning as he swallowed. *I like this, is there more?* he asked, head tilted on one side. *I also need a name too* he said *But the food is good too!* and he grinned at his bond.

The Diamond watched as her chosen one reached behind her and brought out the little one. She stretched her neck forward to see better, there was something about him.......AHHH! As he was unwrapped and shown to her she saw he had wings!!! A smile spread across her face, she would teach him to fly well! *He is beautiful! And his wings are so bright! I like him Talla! We three will have fun!* and she smiled, *Do you have any food? I am hungry!*

The Emerald grinned at Marken as he finished his food. He spoke to his chosen. *You may name me..........if you can find one I like!* and he tilted his head and watched Marken out of the corner of his eye, a grin playing at the corners of his mouth. He would play with this man who had teased him, not for long, but play he would!!

Kathryn Draconna landed and strolled into the hatching, "Am I too late to stand?" Her eyes fell to a little black dragon and she smiled slightly and thought, he is SO hansome... wonder whose he is going to be...

Srrmaie watched, a worried frown on her face. Her strange son looked to be moving more but she was afraid for him, if he didn't find his bond soon...... She saw the newcomer enter *Welcome, there are many eggs left and we are in need of more people!* just as she said that the hatchling 'spoke' to the newcomer and she smiled a little, *You are the one for him, I am sure*

The little black stretched his neck as far as he could towards the entrance. someone new had come in! The person helping him had been distracted by something and he felt so alone. With a weak rumble he 'called' to the newcomer. *You who have entered, Kathryn, I need help! I cannot move! Will you help?* and his head dropped to the floor, weakened by the effort he had made. His legs were starting to move a little, but he was so tired and hungry! *Will you fed me......please?*

Kathryn ran to the Black dragon's side and used her wing claws to breck through the shell surrounding the young dragon's body, I will help you, little one... and feed you as well, you poor dear! Kathryn's mothering instints took over and she unconciously levitated some food over to the black. Eat, precious one. You will need the strength.

The black stretched his head up as his shell was broken from him properly and crooned up at his bond. The croon was cut off as food appeared before him, ravenously he gulped the food down, already from the little he had eaten he could feel strength flowing into him. He dragged himself up into a sitting position and looked at Kathryn. A weak smile appeared on his face and he spoke, his mind tone stronger than before, *Thank you for the help dearest! You will be mine? And name me? And I may need more food* and he wobbled and slipped back down to his reclining position, looking trustingly up at Kathryn.
Srrmaie bugled as she felt her son choose. He was the first of his like and she was so glad he had found his bond at last! *Well done Kathryn! You will be good for each other!* and with that she turned back to the clutch, the eggs were wobbling and looked like a few may break soon!

Kathryn fetched more food for her dragon, I will take care of you, little one. How would you like to be called Elrond? Kathryn sitts the food infront of her dragon and watches him dig in. Thank you, Srrmaie, for trusting me with your hatchling! He is a truely hansome creature!!
Kathryn helps her dragon into a sitting postion and holds him there, Don't eat too fast, love... you don't wish to get sick!

Azarsha slipped quietly into the hatching grounds, face wreathed in smiles as she glanced about the area - many small babies, all apparently very pleased by the selection of bondmates. Many happy people, watching their new babies dotingly. And there appeared still to be a few eggs, rocking on the sands, not yet released of their precious contents...
Glancing up at the clutch's dam, Azarsha bowed her head quickly, allowing her eyes to drift closed and hoping that it was a suitable greeting for such an esteemed matriarch. Opening her eyes again, and returning to a more welcoming stance, Azarsha surveyed the grounds, wondering if she might be found suitable for a hatchling.

Kathryn servayed the other hatchlings as she held up her little black, I wonder if these dragons come in orange...

Srrmaie bowed her head to Kathryn *If you had not come he would have.....well never mind, you are here and I thank you* She watched the newly bonded pair through glittering eyes. The little black smiled, he was stronger than before and his bond was helping and feeding hi. A grin on his face, he spoke to Kathryn. *That is a beautiful name! I will be proud to take it, and I will not eat too fast* and he slowed down his gulping to a more acceptable pace.

Srrmaie looked towards the entrance at the next candidate to come in, pleased by the respectful way in which she was spoken to she crooned *You are welcome here Azarsha. Please, take a place!* and she smiled.
The Topaz female and the Ruby male that were wandering, still searching both came to a halt. *Little!* said the Topaz *She thinks we are little!* the Ruby snorted with amusement and as one they moved towards the new person. *We greet you......Azarsha, and we are pleased to see you* said the Ruby. Both stood, smiling at her, *Do you like what you see?* asked the Topaz, flaunting her transluscent wings and watching, her lip curling at the corner into a smile.

Azarsha caught sight of the ruby and the topaz about the same time they started discussing her choice of thoughts. Chuckling, she watched as they approached together, glancing from one to another, hoping that one of them might choose her... they were both so beautiful!
*I like what I see very much, younglings! You're both lovely. And little,* She smiled conspiratorially, *Is in the eyes of the beholder. I'm afraid your mother is much larger than you!*

The Ruby hatchling smiled and the Topaz preened at the compliment, The Ruby looked from his sister to his mother then back. *Well then, you are right! We are small.....compared to her!* and he grinned at Azarsha. His sister looked at the new one, head to one side, eyes half closed. Suddenly a grin snapped onto her face and she stepped forward, *I like you! Will you take me?* and she looked at her brother who looked nervous, *Would you consider him as well? He is too shy to ask but I know he likes you!* both their stomachs growled. *we will need fed, and you can name us too you know!* Both waited, one shy and nervous, the other sure of her position in life and of being accepted.

Azarsha watched as the Topaz watched her contemplatively, hoping she was considering making Azarsha her own. When the dragonling proposed both herself and the Ruby remaining with her, Azarsha grinned brilliantly. *Of course, I would love to take both of you! We'll have to find some food - I can perhaps...* The lizardling paused, squinting her eyes closed and biting on her lower lip, and presently there was a rather large pile of fresh eats near the ruby and the topaz. *As for names....* She smiled at the topaz, who was obviously the more forward of the pair. *For you, Auryan? And ruby Misaurun. Are these pleasing?*

Kathryn stepped away from the black hatchling as he managed to stand on his own. She studied the other dragons on the grounds closely having already heard of these kinds and knowing them by sight from the mentally formed pictures she had. Though Kathryn seemed to be looking at the dragons with her eyes she was truely looking inside them to see what Elrond truely was, Odd it is, Elrond... you are truely a Kristayl. An Ebony Kristayl... but other than that I cannot place where you would be in the social structure of your kind.
Kathryn's eyes fall on the Amber Kristayls in the sands and she asks the proud parents, "Do you see my dragon Mari waiting outside your cave entrance. She is the Orange dragon that seems rather small compared to your hatchlings even... I wonder if you think your kind and hers could reproduce together. Can you tell?"

The hatchlings looked at each other then back at Azarsha, then the Topaz spoke. *Auryan and Misaurun are fine names* and the Ruby nodded *We will be pleased to accept them!

As the last of the hatchlings paired off Srrmaie looked at the other eggs. A few more looked close to hatching.....yes there were four eggs rocking fit to knock the two next to them over! As she watched the four shattered, spilling out a topaz female, Garnet male, Emerald male and an Amber.....male! Another sport!!! With a snort of surprise she smiled up at her mate. The fragments of eggshell from the new hatchlings rained down onto one of the Gauzewing eggs, smashing it open and revealing a Platinum queen. She creeled, looking around her in shock.
As the eggs hatched Srrmaie looked over at Kathryn. *Can our species interbreed? I think we can! And your dragon is very pretty for her size* and she smiled *There is a sport Amber here, he is the first male Amber to be born, the only thing is, will it be you who attempts to bond with him or your dragon? It has been done before* and she watched the Amber, who was looking between Kathryn and her dragon. Three of the other hatchlings were wandering the sands, looking for bonds but the Gauzewing Queen was still in the remains of her egg, one pretty wing marred by a slice that was oozing green/yellow blood.
