Kikkia and Karon were sitting around discussing the dragonets. A few had come up to them but soon left. "That Garnet looks pritty cool, I wonder if it's nice?" Kikkia finally said to her brother after a long silence "If you want me to go talk to it just say so." "Shouldn't It come over here?" "True." They sighed but this time Karon broke the silence "A flitt wouldn't be too bad to go home with." "No but the Topaz and Amber look cool too, I wonder if we ARE alowed to go over to them?"

The Rubies giggled *We need names, none of our kind are born with names. You may have the honour!* and the smaller nudged her arm *You will give us names and feed us?" not as much of a showoff as his brother he wanted to make sure they were wanted. That and his stomach was growling loudly!

The Topaz was wandering still, creeling, when she 'felt' a prescence in her mind, someone was scared, HER someone! With a bugle of challenge she leapt across the sands to Ranote. *You are worried? I will help you! Where is the danger?* the Topaz looked around her, searching for the trouble that threatened her chosen. She calmed slightly as she saw nothing. *Who are you?* She asked, *You are small!* and she smiled.

Reno smiled at the twins."Your Sonin,"she said pointing to the non showoff,"and your Sonic!"She said pointing to the showoff one."Do you like those names?"She asked hoping they would.

Ranote looked up as the Topaz came over to her. "Umm..I'm Ranote,or Ran if you prefer. The danger seems to be in the forest where I live. Yes I'm small, i'm only a child." She said looking from the Topaz to Srrmaie."Do you want me?"She asked the topaz shyly. Just as she asked, she got another vision. This time of their home on fire, along with the woods around it. She gasped louder this time, and started shaking.

The Garnet and Amber that had been wandering together stopped. They were being discussed, they could 'feel' it. The Garnet started slightly ahead of the Amber and arrived there first, the Amber close behind. The Amber, however was the first to speak. *You were talking about us?* he said, leaning his head down to get closer to Kikkia and Karon. The Garnet spoke too *Did you like the look of us?* and he grinned *What are your names?*

Kikkia Looked at the little amber with supprize "Yes, we were." She said to it as Karon said to the Garnet "Yes we like the way you look alot! My name is Karon and my sister is Kikkia." They looked at eachother and smiled. "Do YOU like US?" Karon asked-adressing both dragons.

The smaller, quieter Ruby smiled *I like the name Sonin, it is a good name!* he grinned at the louder of the two, *What do you think brother?* The showoff nodded, *Sonic is the right name for me!* and he giggled again *You are good at names* he said, and nudged her arm *I need food, we both do! may we eat now* he grinned, head on one side.

The Topaz smiled at Ran, *I like you Ran, I will look after you! You are small and should be protected!* she looked at her mother *Thank you for watching her for me* Srrmaie nodded and smiled *You are welcome daughter* The Topaz nudged Ran, gently of course, her head was bigger then Ran's whole body! *I am hungry and need a name! Will you do that?* as she spoke her new bond gasped again, this time the Topaz's bugle echoed rount the whole cavern, stirring the watching flits into the air and causing the other dragons there to roar with worry *There is danger* she cried *You are mine and I will watch you! What must be done?*

maygirl standing watching proceedings wondered if anyone was going to aid the little Emerald and also wondered where the Sapphire was heading for in such a hurry.

24 of 24 eggs hatched but if there aren't enough there are some adolescent dragons in need of bonds. Four hatchlings left on the sands.

"It's okay...I hope."Ranote turned to Srrmaie,"I just saw our home in flames along with the forest around it. We have nowhere to go now.."She told the dragon sadly. Ran wondered if her sister had seen it. By the looks of it, Reno had not. Ran turned toward the Topaz,"What do you think of the name...Lawvirn?"

Reno smiled at Sonin and Sonic."Yes, why don't we go fill your tummies! You sure sound hungry!" With that she led them over to the food. As soon as they got there, Reno felt scared and saw something. It looked like their forest on fire. She turned toward Ran to see if she knew, and saw the terror in her sister's eyes. Who would..she stopped. The ghost dragon. It would want Ran and her for it's eggs! She tried to find the mind of Rinma, the ghost dragon, and failed. What if she found out they were here? Would she come after them? What would happen to her rubies? She worried.

Kathryn watched the new bonds being made and silently congratulated those who found their Bonds. Kathryn's eyes caught for a second on the Sapphire and she thought, "Such a pretty deep blue he is..." then her eyes went to the Emerald and she chuckled, "And there is a pretty green of such depth to that one... I wonder if either of them will find me suitible... I really should not be so greedy... but I do love companions... and I understand dragons better than humans..."

maygirl spots her fiend daughter.
"Hi Kathryn, dear, aren't these some of the most awesome young you have ever seen."

Kathryn nodded and looked to Maygirl, "Of course they are! They are dragons after all!"

The two Kristayls looked at each other and laughed. In unison they answered. *Yes we do* and grinned at Kikkia and Karon. *So you have waited long for us?* asked the Garnet, *Who are you? Where are you from? Is it nice there?* The Amber laughed at her brother and nudged Karon *He talks a lot doesn't he!* and she smiled, *Is it nice where you come from?*

Srrmaie looked down, eyes tinged with red. *You have nowhere? You are safe here for as long as you need to be here. We will tell your sister when she gets here* The Topaz turned her head to ran, *That is a beautiful name! I will be known as Lawvirn from now on!* and she moved closer to Ran, no harm would come to her while she was there!

The Rubies followed Reno to the food table but thoughts of food fled from their minds at the fear that ran thorough Reno as she reached her sister. They had heard the commotion before but had been too hungry to take it in. Now they were fully roused, ready to stand for their bond. *We are safe here* they said, *The others will help us!* Srrmaie lowered her head. *Reno, you and your bonds and sister are safe here. You will stay until you wish to leave. In the meantime you will be looked after* and her eyes took on a more red hue then before. *Nothing will enter MY hatching grounds without permission!*

The Emerald crossed the sand in a bound as a commotion raised at the entrance. Fear, tinged with anger filled him as he landed at kathryn's feet *I am afraid* he said *Will you help me?* he shook, curling up into as small a ball as he could make himself *There is something wrong!*

Kathryn stroked the Emerald comfortingly, "Calm down, dear one, I will keep you safe... Let us get you some food, and a name..." Kathryn paused to look at the dragon critically, "You shall be Emeri, if you like the name."

Reno was startled that Srrmaie knew what had happened. She didn't want to be a burden to them. "We will not stay for long. Only as long as is neccisary. We don't want to be a bother. I don't know if you could stop her if she did come. Rinma is very strong, if not large. She will doubtless have her mate with her."She added worriedly.

Ranote turned to her sister and said,"Reno? Rinma will know where we are. She can always tell, remember? What should we do? If she has Triwn with her..."She couldn't finish her sentence she was so scared. She had a feeling that not even Srrmaie could stop Rinma if she had her mate, Triwn with her. Rinma would kill Lawvirn, the twin rubies, and anyone else that got in her way. If Rinma didn't come while they were here, she would most likely come after them when they left."You need fed don't you Lawvirn?" Ran picked up some food and hoped the dragon would eat it.
