Lenthean Unicorn

General Description: the lenthean unicorn is a rare and extremely shy, but still intelligent species of forrest-dwelling equine-- often sharing their homelands with the lenthean centaurs. However, preffering solitude from anyone but their own kind, unicorns are mostly found in forrested areas that are unspoiled by any other sapient race. While they share some features with the arabian horse of Earth, no ordinary horse can compete with the elegant and slenderly built unicorns, also their agility and swiftness surpasses that of most other species of equine. Unicorns are usually a pure snowy white with deep blue or green eyes, and their horns can become as long as one meter in older individuals. While they dislike the presence of any other intelligent being but the centaurs, some younger unicorns will sometimes enjoy luring human and humanoid travelers into remote and dangerous areas, or into centaur ambushes. Somehow able to move through the forest with the ease and speed of a small bird and even capable of doging arrows, lenthean unicorns are almost impossible to catch.

Special Abilities: telepathy and empathy. They are also capable of confusing the thoughts of others, even telepathically cause an unwary traveler to percieve his or her surroundings very differently from what they acctually look like.

Specific Physical Statistics.
Size at birth: 30-40 cm tall to the shoulder.
Size at maturity: 1.6-1.9 meters tall at the shoulder.
Time to maturity: 10 years(they can become as old as 50).

Mental Abilities: while the lenthean unicorn can't communicate using words(instead they use a mix of emotions, images and 'impressions' to do that), they are fairly intelligent-- probably equal to a fifteen years old human. They are rather good at finding solutions to difficult problems and most unicorns seem to be gifted with a considerable imagination, which help them to attain an understanding of most things rather quickly.
