Llerri`ier(Tarndragon)

General Description: although the tarndragons bears a noticeable resemblance to the seadragons; their horns are set in the same way and they are very similar in build, there are still differences. Tarndragons are lighter of build, and their smaller size makes it possible for them to walk at their hind-legs, their arms and hands are also more like those of a humanoid, making them far more dexterious. The skin of a tarndragon is much softer than that of their cousins and while they rarely get as colorfull as some seadragons, a few tarndragons can still be quite spectaculary colored. Tarndragons prefer to settle in large and undisturbed areas where they may wander for days without ever seeing other sapient races, and as they have a tendency for being wary of strangers, tarndragons are almost always slow to consider others their friends. There are also some tarndragons who may react with hostility when someone enters their territory uninvited and without a good reason. Of the sjirran dragons, it is the tarndragons who have the grea-*test*-('") interest and understanding of technology and therefore they are often found as scientists, pilots or commanders of starships. Without the tarndragons, it is unlikely that the sjirran would have had the same level of technology that Sjirra is so well known for at the present.
