Llerrir`ier (Seadragon).

General Description: the Llerrir`ier is the largest type of sjirran dragon and it is they who are most often found as the leaders of their kind. A seadragon`s head is wedge-shaped with a somewhat domed forehead to give room for a larger brain, the eyes are large and almond-shaped. Just between the nostrils grows a thorn-shaped horn, the females have a horn that curve gently backwards from just above the eyes; the horns of the males are set further up towards the top of the head. A seadragon`s neck is long and muscular in order to be capable of carrying its large head, the neck is also very flexible. While longer and packed with wiry muscle(particulary in the chest-region), the body of a seadragon resembles that of a cat, with the broad wings starting just behind the shoulders. The legs are strong and muscular, and as seadragons always walk on all fours, their fingers and toes are thick and short so they won`t break, particulary at the hind-feet. A seadragon`s tail is very thick at the base, but quickly grows narrower towards the tip, the tail can also be a efficent weapon in close combat and even a 'light' hit could easily kill a human. Comming in any imaginable color, it`s not unusual to see a seadragon with a pattern of as many as five different colors at his or her skin.
Seadragons preffer to live close to oceans and other large bodies of water, and whenever they have the chance, they may spend hours flying over it or swimming. As they are the most social of the sjirran dragons, the seadragons are also the traditional leaders of their kind, and still it is they that are most often found in positions of leadership and officially representing their kind throughout the multiverse.
