Marsh Ghost Dragon.

General Description: native to the large swamp stretching across the largest continent at Camidra's northern hemisphere, marsh ghost dragons are despite their name-- only half dragons. The result of a solar dragon's experiment, they are part dragon and part swamp spirit, possessing certain abilities inherited from both of the species they descend from. Marsh ghost dragons, unlike their heat-loving dragon ancestors, are quite small-- never growin larger than about 1.5-2 meters in lenght. Of appearance, they looks much like a mix of the typical western dragon and a gecko-- several pairs of horns growing from their heads and a row of strong spines running down their backs. They are quite muscular of build and every bit as strong as they look, although they can also move extremely fast when the need is there. The color of a marsh ghost dragons scales will almost always be various shades of white and light grey, though the occational very pale blue or green individual is possible-- their eyes are black or a very dark grey.

Originally Created by: Something Evil.

Special Abilities: being part marsh spirits, these dragons are also capable of taking on the appearance of mist-- and they often use this ability to hide or sneak up on prey or an opponent. However, marsh ghost dragons are quite vulnerable when in mist form, as a piece of iron or steel thrust into them will undo the dragon. Marsh ghost dragons are also telepathic, and they have some abilities within the areas of pyromancy and hydromancy, though they rarely use the former.
Marsh Ghost dragons may also communicate with marsh spirits and the ghosts of those who have died in the swamps.

Oddities: although they rarely need to eat, marsh ghost dragons will primarily eat swamp creatures like fish, alligators and snakes when they need to eat. However, occationally they will also feed on the spirits of sapient beings entering the swamp-- sometimes going as far as deliberatly luring someone with a particulary strong soul to the swamps for that purpose.
