Mejelern Per'nia

General Description: like the mejelern firelizards, mejelern per'nias bears a strong resemblance to the original pernese dragons, with some exceptions. However, where the mejelern firelizards have one pair of horns, the dragons have two-- one extending from the top of the head and the other, longer pair, extending from right behind the eyes, mejelern per'nias do not have visible ears. A younger race than the mejelern firelizards, the dragons were developed roughly half a decade ago after it had been proven that the firelizards were successfull as a species, so the breeding of the mejelern dragons is still somewhat restricted.
Neither the mejelern dragons are particulary telepathic, but as the are not capable of human speach, they have developed a complex language of their own-- consisting of clicks, chirps and rumbling-- aided by their empathic skills. While developed from mejelern firelizard stock, the mejelern dragons are slightly different in the matter of colors, this due to that the magic-user who created them sought to improve on her work.

Oddities: while mejelern per'nias are independent and does not need to form a empathic bond with anyone, the majority still choose to Impress due to tradition. They may however choose named without the -th ending.
