General Description: Mirrorlings are creatures from a dimension connected to our own world through mirrors and other reflective surfaces. The first reported mirrorling was a Guardian mirrorling bonded to a lonely Ralsen wizard on the planet Searal. Like the first most mirrorlings tend to be attracted to loners or those in need of companionship. Mirrorlings come in two varieties, Companion and Guardian. Companion mirrorlings have a prechosen form of their own and tend to be smaller creatures like cats, dogs and birds. Companions tend to be much more independent appearing to there bondmates when they choose or when they feel their friend needs help. They are however extremely loyal and will never turn away from their friends in times of need.
Guardian mirrorlings are very rare and their forms are chosen when they choose their bondmate. A bond to a guardian mirrorling has a friend and protector that is always there. This constant pressence is reflected to the gift of a mirror locket. The cover of the locket has an image of the form the guardian has taken. Guardian mirrorlings are always available to their friends when called through the locket. Guardians sometimes take on the form of larger creatures up to the size of a horse or tiger. Dragon, unicorn, or griffon mirrorlings are very very rare, though winged cats and dogs are quite common among both types.

Special Abilities: Can be present in any reflective surface. Take the form of a shimmering mist when entering or exiting the mirror world. Mirrorlings are very skilled magic users, but can only use magic for the needs of their bondmates.
