Due to the inactivity of some of our moderators, I have wondered if anyone would like to be considered for a position as a moderator. The job has it's perks - you get to be high and mighty, you get to moderate things, you can be evil, etc. But you also have to be active - posting within your forum more than once a week, starting topics, keeping the flow going. The moment you get weak you are out of there! Here are some places where we need moderators:

General Moderator
You get to moderate everything, but you also have to be really active. I expect to see you post at least five times a week, keep everything flowing, close inactive topics, start new ones, etc. Applicants should have some experience in the area, and I would hope to see this person have been active in the past.

FarNorth Moderator
This one is really important. We hope to restart FarNorth, and since our lovely moderator has disappeared off the face of the planet, we will need someone to help out in that capacity. It is highly preferred you be a member of FarNorth and enjoy Pern a lot, and be able to keep things moving there. Once again, experience is preferred but not required - I can train you if I have to myself.

Chat Moderator
You get to moderate the general forums and the critter forums. Make sure no one is flaming another person, etc. Start fun discussions and polls, have some fun yourself. Experience is REALLY preferred, but not that you have been active here in the past.

Remember, all moderators report to me and if you get slack you'll be out of that position faster than you can say draconic funmonkeys (okay, made that up). Get the point? Here is the application:
