Nembrea`ier(Nightdragon)

General Description: the nightdragons are probably the most physically powerfull of the sjirran dragons. Very muscular, particulary in the chest-area, their build resembles that of a wolf; but somewhat longer. They are also the only type of sjirran dragon that has scales, and their wing-span is a bit shorter than usual; making them strong and stable, but slow fliers compared to the other types. A nightdragon`s head resemble that of a horse, but is stronger and heavier, two steel-colored horns curve gently backwards from above and just behind the large eyes. Nightdragons also have a crest supported by flexible spines running from the top of the head to the base of the tail. The scales of a nightdragon are always black, and may have a glossy look, like the ice covering a small lake in winter, these scales are also quite thick and cannot be mistaken for skin. Instead of lightning, the breathweapon of a nightdragon is a cloud of frost and poisonous gass, potent enough to instantly kill anyone who`s caught in such a blast without heavy protection.
As they have a great craving for gathering hoards, things like gold, silver, gems and other valuable artifacts, nightdragons may often be a great hazard to traders and the like; particulary at more primitive planets. Through changes done to their race in the past, nightdragons are also capable of surviving in envoroments that would have meant certain death for many other beings. They are capable of entering very toxic envoroments, withstanding extreme heat and even surviving in space unprotected for short periods of time without taking any harm, to mention some things.
