Has any one else but me notice that this forum is slow to load. I've been having a hard time looking through this site because it was so slow. No matter what computer I use it is slower that all other forums. Any body else having problems?

Yup - I frequently have to reload it several times before it will let me look at things - and it's always kinda hit-and-miss if it will actually open up the screen so I can respond!

Then again, maybe that's a good thing.... =P

I've noticed that as well and I have cable internet at home and dial up at work, either place its slow from time to time. My best guess is that because its a free board if we get overloaded with people (say more than 5 or 6) then it balks like a spooked horse and won't go where its supposed to. I think it is just something we're gonna have to live with.

It use to be fine, but all of the sudden it started to act up and the other free forums aren't having the same problems. I wonder what it is.

Yup - and it's minorly annoying, but it's not a huge big deal. It's worth it, for the format!

Even with DSL it balks...*shrugs* what we put with for Pern.
