General Description: created by the same entity that brought the Tca`ier into existence, the stormdragons are the cousins of these first dragons. However, unlike their far more powerfull cousins, the stormdragons chose to follow the path of evil and they hate the rest of dragonkind with a passion. Calculating and ruthless, they will rarely do anything for others if they don`t think that they can gain anything by doing so, and they may turn on an ally at a moment whim. Stormdragons are also known to enslave magic-users, controling them through a specially crafted collar made of crystal.
However, the stormdragons shame the belief that evil creates a frightening exterior-- they are most likely among the most beautiful of the numerous dragon species in existence. The head is wedge-shaped with a broad forehead-- the eyes are large and almond-shaped, usually a shimmering opalescent or golden of color. From between the nostrils and to the base of the swan-like neck runs a crest of membrane stretched out between flexible spines. A stormdragon`s body is long and resembles that of a large snake, although the chest is a bit broader to give room for the wing-muscles. The wings are fan-shaped, quite unlike the wings found at most species of dragon, and the wing-span of a stormdragon is an impressive three times the lenght of the entire body. Both legs and tail are long and slender, but strong, adding to the 'serpentine' appearance of this dragon species.
Although they are quite talented in the art of magic, the stormdragons also have a unusual 'breathweapon'; a dazing and piercing shriek that may stun or even shatter even stone, is also unike among dragonkind-- making stormdragons deadly opponents
