SunFlare Dragons aka Sunspot Dragons

Origins: Unknown though they seem to be related to Pernese hybrids such as the Rogue Dragons or the various Per'nia.

Appearance: SunFlares resemble Pernese dragons in form though almost all are about the same general size with only the fertile females being noticably larger. They seem to come in almost any color but most have a base color of green, blue, or a golden yellow. All of these dragons are spotted in at least one other color, usually the contrasting color. These spots spread as they age starting as a polkadot pattern on neck and shoulders at hatching and becoming a rich speckling covering their back and wings. The more colors of spotting equal higher rank among SunFlares though the clash of colors can bother the eyes of most other races, this of course is where their name comes from.

Special Abilities
SunFlares are travelers. Teleportation is their main gift along with telepathy and a gift with languages. Many are also able to create a shield around themselves strong enough to allow them to travel through space.

These dragons do not need to bond, but most prefer to since they are very social creatures and their traveling often leaves them far from others of their own kind.

Distribution: Throughout the multiverses. Individual eggs can often be found at interplanetary marketplaces such as the market at Gaia where the human wizard Dale obtained his blue-orange-white-yellow male Sunspot. Since he was the first of his kind in the area, others of his kind seen have also been called Sunspots. Sunspot was original assumed to be a sport Pernese or a Rogue.
The name issue has not gone to his head though he is quite pround of his first clutch with his mate the silver-lavendar-gold Starlight.

Breeding: Nonhybrid Clutches of these dragons are quite rare because of the nature of the dragons' traveling. Sunflare dragons can breed with most other draconic species. (please ask myself and the creator of the other dragon type before you decide to have a mixed clutch)
