Tca'ier.
General Description: the very first dragons in existence, the tca'ier were created by the Riuni'ieli Sjr'iar. Of build, they are long-bodied and slender, but wiry-- their bodies as flexible as a snakes though not as thin. Tca'iers also have three pairs of wings-- the main pair being much like those of other dragons, long, narrow and equiped with three supportive 'ribs' and two thumbs ending in claws. The second and third pair is set further down the back towards the hips, slightly smaller than the main pair, but similar of appearance otherwise. A tca'ier's head is elegantly shaped-- having a long but not too slender muzzle and a broad forehead, the eyes being large and quite expressive. From the back of the scull, extends a pair of horns, curving slightly in and then out. Starting between the horns, a ridge of thorn-shaped horns run all the way down to the tip of the almost fern-shaped tip of the tail. Each horn is connected by a translucent membrane in the same color as the eyes, extending about 1/3 up the horn. Further, the body of a tca'ier is covered in jewel-bright scales, each as sharp as a diamond-blade. These scales can also be raised and lowered individualy, which the tca'iers seem to enjoy using as an effect to confuse others(in a strange ripple effect) or to make a chiming/rustling sound when annoyed.
The arms and legs are long and slender, equiped with talons much loke those of an eagle, if more dexterious.
From hatching and about the age of seven hundred years, a young tca'ier will live alongside the sha'mrn and sha'yienn, a practice that goes back millions of years to when the two humanoid races were still young and primitive. Younglings will usually pick a sha'mrn or sha'yienn companion, acting as teachers certainly, but also learning from their chosen companions. Once he or she reaches the traditional age, a tca'ier will beging traveling, acting as agents and messengers for their creator. Sometimes an adult tca'ier will aid or befriend mortal beings, but even then, their loyality is to Sjr'iar only. In the physical universe, tca'iers may become as large as 1000 feet long, although those who have went beyond and shed their physical forms are said to be far larger.
Originally Created by: Something Evil.
Special Abilities: although they have to learn, like everyone else, tca'iers have it in them to become expert magic-users. While usually prefering the magic of the Zhiar Multiverse, they are quite willing to learn other kinds. Individuals often going to great lenghts to seek out potential teachers they deem suitable when a new way of magic catches their interest.

Scarlet: these are females. They are physically faster and more agile than the other colors, and they also seem to be the ones who most often will take direct contact with mortals. Scarlet tca`iers always have emerald eyes.
Silver; these are males. Although being closest to the scarlets in speed and agility, the silvers also seem to be more endurant in the physical worlds. Silver tca`iers always have gold or amber eyes.
White; these can be males or females. They are as powerfull physically as all their kind are mentally and they seem to be the ones who are sent when their creator wants something something destroyed. White tca`iers always have scarlet eyes.
Emerald; these can be males or females. The keepers of history among their kind, the emeralds are the silent observers, and they are always present in some form, in any place, to record what is happening. Emerald tca`iers always have silver eyes.
Gold and amber; these are females. Relatively placid creatures, these are the guardians of the Boundaries, and they can travel the paths of space and time as easily as their master. Gold and amber tca`iers always have white eyes.
Midnight blue; these are females. Only one midnight blue tca`iar is born in each generation and they are the leaders of their kind, it is usually a good idea to be anywhere but in the victiny of a midnight blue tca`ier. Midnight blue tca`iers always have black eyes.
Shadow; these have no gender. The exact purpose of the shadow tca`iers is unknown, but as they are almost never seen in the company of any of the other colors, they seem to work alone. Shadow tca`iers have midnight blue eyes.
Naming Restrictions.
By human standars, translated tca'ier names end up rather long due to the complex syllables. The fact that the majority of tca'iers also preffer for others to learn to speak their full name, also makes the matter more difficult.
One name example may be Eyladarrasthstiar(ey-lahrr-as-fris-t-aar), simply translated meaning 'red cloud of the morning sun'. If the tca'ier feels like taking pitty on someone, she might accept a shortening like Eyladarr, or a nickname like Cloud if particulary generous.
